Great bulk jars
I love them for flour, sugar, cornmeal, cereals, noodles etc. Looks great on your counter tops also. Worth the dollar. Different sizes also.

Great for storage however, you can make a homemade seal and hereâs how. â¦
The lids do not come with a washer/seal. That being said we like the jars enough to use a food safe aquarium sealant for creating an airtight seal. We applied the sealant to the lids and let them dry thoroughly before using them.A customer asked if anyone had found seals for these jars. Hereâs how I responded. Aquarium seal, caulking tool, patience and ingenuity.I measured the lids with a machinist tool and oredered seals from two companiesâ¦. â¹ï¸ (not Amazon and they were expensive) after two attempts to purchase the perfect seal⦠all of them were just a hair or so off because the lids and jars at imperfectâ¦. I decided to use a bead of aquarium seal I purchased at Low_s. I applied a bead of sealer on the lidâ¦. It was easier to use a razor to trim what turned out to be minimum excess sealant off the lids. I was able to create what seams to be an airtight seal and use the jars for my specialty flours. What you need to know: be patient, be prepared to try it a couple of times. I will add photos at a later date to my current review. You can do it.

Almost perfect. They’re not air tight but I fixed that with some food-grade silicone sealant. I use it for pet kibble.

I used these for a nice way to store my bath salts on the counter. They are sturdy and have a great seal to keep the contents fresh. My guests have commented that they thought they look great and wanted to buy some too.

I love these jars so much.. although one of them had a crack around the rim.. it was still usable though. These do NOT have rubber in the lids so they are not air tight.. but very beautiful!

I got these jars because I needed a container to put bigger cookies in. Not only are they beautiful and easy to clean, but the lids fit very well. The knob on top feels secure when you lift it. I particularly like the fact that it was made in the US as anchor hocking is a US company.
