Versatile
Useful! It is one of those products that you didn’t know you needed until you had it and began using it. This is also the perfect gift for that person who has everything. I bought this for my mother-in-law for her birthday because she is an avid Crock Pot (slow cooker) user and I came across this and really didn’t know what else to get her. She absolutely loves it. One benefit I didn’t realize is that she is no longer lifting her large Crock Pot insert to clean it in the sink. Her Crock Pot sits on her countertop all the time and now she has the ease of just moving these lightweight silicone bowls in and out of the base, that in itself is wonderful. I will have to take pictures of it when I am at her house next time because they fit her 6 quart Crock Pot well and totally work. After her rave reviews, I bought a set for my own house. My Crock Pot is the smaller 3 quart size so I only use one at a time (see photo of lasagna soup in there!) but it is easy to pour out into bowls, easy to clean, and you don’t have to wait for the heavy ceramic insert to cool down. I bend the top to fit into my smaller Crock Pot and it works great. I am on Amazon here now to order myself a larger 5 or 6 quart Crock Pot so that I can use these inserts simultaneously the way they were intended. I have also used the inserts for watering plants and collecting pods when shelling beans. Thinking outside the box, there are actually many things you could use these for, and that is because they are flimsy so they can bend to whatever shape you need, yet they do stand up with food in them on their own. Tips: Do not cook two different opposing flavors of foods side by side. Chocolate dump cake dessert and turkey noodle stew are not a good mix (my mother-in-law’s first experience!) because they end up taking on a hint of flavor of whatever else is in the Crock Pot. This is because the foods are steaming together under the same lid for such length of time. So I recommend you cook both foods or both desserts. Do not serve in them. They are good to cook in, but then I would pour the food onto the eating plate or dump it into a serving bowl. Overall good points: They do not stain from red tomato sauces or chocolate. They can be hand washed or set upside down into the dishwasher, either works. Excellent for people with weak wrists or who do not want to deal with lifting the heavy ceramic liner in and out. Wonderful gift for people who do use their Crock Pots. They are bendable and flimsy so they can fit into a variety of shapes and sizes of Crock Pots. Worth a try.

This got the job done but it does not hold its shape well. also it smells really high of plastic. I washed mine and then put it in the crock pot with water and set it on high for a few hours. This helped with getting the plastic smell out.

The title for the item said they were made for 5qt slow cookers, but the item description said 6-8 quart…..? We have an older Hamilton Beach 5qt crock pot, and they worked, but not greatly. They were a little too big and wouldn’t fit perfectly, but were still usable. For what they are, they serve their purpose and work well, and I’m sure would be perfect in a 6qt pot. We only used them to keep a couple different kinds of taco meat warm, and not to cook anything. Like others have said, they ship them folded in a small box, so they need time and heat to be re-formed.

Do not fit oval crockpot
I have the correct size crock pot as explained in the description and the pieces, when together, form a perfect circle. NOT an oval. They do not fit properly. If I didnât need them for a tailgating party this weekend I would have returned them. Sadly disappointing.

Great solution for two items in crock pot at once
I used the crockpot dividers to heat and keep apple cider and hot chocolate warm for a party. It was a great way to serve two hot beverages and not use more appliances. Quick and easy clean up too!
