I actually bought this for my son in law who cooks and bbqs frequently. He absolutely raves about this knife and uses it for everything. I advised him to wash by hand, completely dry it, and store by itself in the box as soon as he’s done with it. Also, not to cut into chicken bones or any bones. The knife should be sharpened by professionals as it is a Japanese knife that tends to be more fragile than German knives. Anyway, he simply loves the cutting and smooth ability of this knife.
