100% workhorse — suprised it doesn’t cost more
I’m currently chef de cuisine in a steady volume restaurant, and I needed a new immersion blender. So I bought this because the price was right, and 500w has some ‘oomph’ to it.I low-key expected this thing to be kind of a throwaway, but after a week of constant, heavy use, i’ve been pleasantly surprised! I’ve three sauces and two foams on the line that more or less need constant re-aeration/emulisification before and during service.Pros: — powerful — nice, heavy weight (doesn’t feel ‘cheap’) — easy adjustible speed wheel, and a “turbo” button for the insane person — detachable head is simple enough, steel easy to rinse off quickly. 8″ long, works great — cord is 5ft long from base to prong — great price pointCons: — not cordless (but the cord is long enough that it probably isnt a big deal if you’re working smart) — it is a *little* chonky to keep on the line with it’s length, but not terrible. Especially if you keep the head unit detached. — maybe would have liked a color option, because two of my cooks are now buying this thing++ It’s only been a week of heavy use so far, so time will tell, but so far, thoroughly impressed++//** UPDATE –02/02/23 — I’ve been using this thing several times a day for months now. Still in perect working order, as if it had just come out of the box. Still powerful, still easy to use. No issues. Mind how you wrap the cord (as with any electrical tool), so as not to wear out the cord’s connection to the unit. Would 1000% buy again //**// ** UPDATE #2 — 10/26/23. Still going strong. Heavy duty! It works great for my restaurant! Love the whisk attachment and the processor attachment! So cool. Blends really strong and fast. It gets hot real quick but great other than that! Easy to use!

Love this thing
I threw away my name brand immersion blender because it was very awkward to use. This item is great. Very simple, very powerful, 2 power settings. The accessories are great, a whisk that can be used as a light duty hand mixer and a 16 oz cup fitted with a blade that works like a little food processor which I really appreciate because I don’t have a food processor. Very pleased with this item, especially at such a reasonable price.

This is the only immersion blender I’ve ever owned or used, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seems to work great to me. I believe I bought it 3 years ago, and still use frequently. I only use the main attachment, and I love it for pureed soups, salsas, and refried beans. It’s nice to blend hot items, and easy to clean if washed immediately. I’ve never tried it with frozen or hard items.

Broke After 3-4 Uses
Do not buy this product. I was excited to receive this blender with all of the accessories. Unfortunately it broke after 3-4 uses in soft foods. We made a milkshake, potato soup, a cream sauce, and chopped an onion in the small chopper. We wnt to use it to make a milkshake and it started but turned off after a few seconds. Will not turn back on.i tried all of the troubleshooting with no luck. We’ve had it less than 4 months and can’t return it. Very disappointing quality. I will steer clear of Amazon Basics from now on.

This inversion blender is quite nice. It comes with a chopper bowl that eliminates the need of buying a chopper only. this blender has a nice finish to it. It works smoothly and fairly guiet. It is 10 times better than than my previous blender tha I bought because Amazon labeled it their choice..this blender is great.

Great product
Got this for the immersion blender, but really use all the attachments more. It has made whisking a breeze (SO many stiff white peaks with such little effort). I never bring out my real food processor anymore because the one that this comes with is so convenient. Overall a great product and underrated for the price.

It was a good blender and we used it for more than 2 years. The attachment and detachment of heads was not very smooth but worked nonetheless.Today it finally gave up and fell apart.I would have expected this to last 4 to 5 years but 2.5 years is not bad either. So 3.5 stars.

It was so good that I purchased a second one as a gift for my mother. We all love it!! I see reviews where people say the metal gets loose… i suggest before blending, add a cup of room temperature water (or cold) if its a hot boiling soup. Metal expands in heat and if you ise it in boiling soup then rinse it in cold water you shock the metal (rapidly expanding in heat and shrinking in cold water). So if you use it, detach the blendting tio and let it sit around for a bit before you wash it with soap and water. I have been using this almost daily and itâs so good!

We use it everyday to make coffee believe it or not. It creates some foam which is nice. Have used it for milkshake too. Really nice product, canât wait to try on butternut soup.
