Great for chopping, scraping and well made. Had one of these for years with a wooden handle that broke and this scraper with its soft touch plastic handle is ideal for multiple uses on a cutting board.

My favorite bench scraper
I have been using bench scrapers for years, and they are SO USEFUL for so many things in the kitchen. This one is my favorite. I prefer this item because of the plastic hand hold grip–which is comfortable to use, a good size, and comes through my dishwasher better than the ones with the wooden grip. The metal is the perfect size and shape and I LOVE the ruler markings on the bottom of the blade. That is so handy. I use this for moving chopped food to a pan or bowl, for scraping dough off my counter, for lifting doughs, for cutting into brownies and bars and other things, and for measuring where I should cut for portion. Great tool!
