Worked great at first. 3 months later and the magnet doesnât hold so it basically wonât cut unless you hold it and force it. Not worth it in my opinion. Find something better.

I need this as manual openers are getting hard to use with my hands developing arthritis. This item works great. It took a few tries to get the hang of positioning the blade just right on the tin lid, it’s a bit tricky, but once I figured that out, it’s now so easy to use. I was surprised how heavy it is, it feels really sturdy. Somewhat noisy, as are most of these auto openers, but not nearly as screechy as the one that I used to have. Glad I got it.

It opens cans. It does so with minimum fuss. It didn’t cost a ton and it does the job just fine. It is true that releasing the cord from its hole was a tad challenging, but it eventually came out. It wasn’t a deal breaker. It makes no aesthetic difference to my kitchen counter as it’s in a cupboard 6 out of 7 days. In short: it works.
