Somehow, when cleaning out my kitchen of gadgets, my stockpot got thrown out. I went to make Matzo Ball soup and didn’t have a pot to make it in. I wasn’t heartbroken about it, the pot was flimsy and handles were uneven. How that even happens, I don’t know.So I searched all of Amazon and finally decided on getting this. I am not disappointed. This is so much sturdier than I thought it would be. I love the fact that the handles aren’t riveted on like normal pots. It’s perfectly smooth inside and I don’t have to worry about getting dried, old stock under those rivets. The welding of those handles doesn’t look that sturdy but I haven’t had an issue with them and if they just so happen to give way, well, my husband is a blacksmith and I am sure he can weld them back on.Instructions say to simmer soapy water in the pot to remove stains. Don’t. It doesn’t work. But my house smelled nice and clean for hours afterward with that soap smell in the air.I’m leaving the stains in the bottom of the pot. My grandmother used to call that seasoning anyway.

The base of the pot is weighted so itâs great for browning meats and deglazing later for all your braised dishes and soups. Good value for money

Humms/Buzzes but works well
When it arrived I tested it by adding 1 cup water and putting it on our induction stove’s “Power Boost” setting for boiling water. Within literally 10 seconds the water was fully at a roiling boil. It did however make a hum/buzz noise that was a bit annoying.

Very sturdy, substantial pot.
I had no dislikes. Made a big pot of chicken soup in the 12 quart. Plenty of room for a large chicken. Nice handles and lid. Heavy duty pot, even for home use. not too tall either. Little tiny vent in lid too which helps vent. Don’t buy any store stock pot. I looked for quite awhile since I downsized from using my Mother’s old, old 20 plus stock pot. Arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend.

Esta olla es ideal para hacer caldos, la he estado usando durante meses, especialmente en invierno, y siempre cumple genial. Tiene una buena relación calidad-precio y es muy práctica. Lo único que me gustarÃa es que la base fuese un poco más gruesa para mantener mejor el calor y distribuirlo de manera más uniforme. Aun asÃ, estoy bastante contento con ella.

Ich hatte den Topf über die Empfehlungen gefunden, keine Ahnung warum Amazon ihr eigenes Produkt nicht als erstes Anzeigt. Denn:Der Topf ist super! Nicht zu schwer, stabile Griffe, praktischer Deckel, ein absolut guter Allrounder kann man sagen. Ich nutze ihn häufig für Suppen, Tomatensosse und Gulasch, anbraten funtioniert auch gut.Lässt sich relativ komfortabel reinigen da nicht zu schwer. Genau was ich gesucht hatte. Hoffe er wird eine Weile halten. Ein ähnlich groÃer hier auch bestellter Topf ist bereits im Müll gelandet.Dieser hier macht dagegen einen absolut wertigen Eindruck.Kurzum, bin absolut zufrieden damit. Klare Empfehlung.
