I needed a larger one for my 12â pan
This is an extremely sturdy splatter cover. Itâs quite heavy because itâs so sturdy. Most types of these are rather flimsy. Not this one! Itâs built to last. I also believe itâs dishwasher safe, but havenât tried that yet. Another feature are the legs that are attached in a unique way. See the picture on the site. The curved wire attached to the screen are an actual way to rest it in the counter so you donât get sauce or grease on your counter. The splatter guard rests on the wires mounted to the guard! A great feature. I love this splatter guard for pans. It is built to last at a reasonable price and fits all pans that I have. Many of these guards are 10 or 11â, this one fit the bill for me!

Not Good for Smaller Pots and Pans
This splatter guard is extremely well made with very fine mesh that will catch even the smallest splatters. It is also very easy to clean thoroughly. However, though the description indicates that you can use it for smaller pots and pans, it only works if the handle of the smaller pan stays level with the rim of the pan and doesn’t slant up. My smaller frying pans which I use almost every day have handles that curve up which makes a gap between the splatter guard and the rim of the pan where splatter can escape. Consequently, I am disappointed. But I have given it four stars because it is so well made and fine for large pots and pans.

Nice and sturdy
I had never actually owned a splatter guard before so this was my first one and so far I love it! Itâs super thick and sturdy and does a great job of keeping the grease in the pan. It has gotten stained which is the only draw back despite always washing it between uses.
