Great Toaster, But…
The toaster has a power cord that’s way too stiff. It hangs out of the toaster like a desiccated snake, making it hard to position on the counter. Otherwise it toasts all types of bread products with excellent results. It’s light weight and cools down rapidly. Other than the power cord issue, we’re pleased.

It’s a lot of plastic but I like the look
Looks great, very stylish toaster but the amount of plastic is overwhelming. It is bigger than the other toasters but since it goes well in my kitchen I am keeping it. I believe it is way to pricey but again it goes well in my kitchen… Updates About a month ago the toaster starting not to toast the bread. I turned it all the way to 6 and the toast is barley toasted. I’ve contacted the Alessi customer service and they were very helpful. Sadly the white color toaster is not in stock so I have to wait for the replacement.

Made in China, not Italy
Ordered this because initial reviews here and on other sites suggested it was made in Italy like some Alessi products are. It’s definitely not, so you’re paying over $100 for a $10 equivalent toaster.

I love this toaster. It is very sturdy and toasts bread very evenly. The controls are kinda on the corner of the front so it easy to see!

The working parts of this toaster feel quite flimsy. No beep when the toast is ready or anything. When it pops up our bread goes comically flying out of the toaster, the kids get a kick out of it. The darkest setting is medium toasted, doesnât burn or anything. Works great in frozen bagels and itâs really cute! If youâre looking for an attractive basic toaster, this is a buy. It doesnât feel like it will last a long time but only time will tell.
