Superb. Far exceeded my expectations.
The unit is well constructed with a quality feel, so I was impressed out of the box. But then I started using it… I originally purchased this to have a water kettle for the road and camping, as I work out of my car quite a bit and it would be nice to be able to make my own tea(I’m a tea person, coffee is good, but I like tea better) in my car with a power station, instead of being at the mercy of client work places or having to buy.But in testing I realized, this was simply way better for tea than my full size kettle. The temperature control means a consistent perfect cup of tea every time. No more bringing to a boil then waiting a few minutes and hoping that’s enough to get it right. Just set the temp… and forget about the graphic that shows boil water for black tea – do yourself a favor, set it to 176 and try brewing your black tea from there. Boiling water brings out harsh and bitter flavors and a gritty body to black tea… 176 brings out a perfect body and all the pleasing positive flavors. And at the end of the 4 minute brew, it’s ready for sipping. Perfect, every single time.So this thing I purchased to use on the road and camping, will become my daily go-to for my caffeinated beverage of choice. And just for the heck of it, I tried soft boiling eggs in it… it worked well. you can only fit two, but you basically set it to boil, then time about a minute after it’s done. So that will come in handy camping.Finally, one caveat you should be aware of… I chose this one specifically for the 500ml capacity, so that I could make enough for my wife and my drink in one go, and it will do that just fine provided you don’t boil. For boiling, the limit is 420ml. Given that tea and coffee don’t require boiling and are actually better off not boiling, this isn’t a problem. But if you have a specific need for 500ml boiling, you should be aware of this. For my own use, it’s absolutely perfect.

Let it sit for a lil cause it’s hot
Quiet, convenient, solid. I use this to make tea at work. Takes about 5 mins after letting it sit for 2. I don’t use the highest setting as tea doesn’t need to be that hot. Good size. Comes with a nice faux leather carry case and the cord comes off and you can stuff it inside. Very cool bought one for my brother for Christmas.

For 176°F temperature mode, the kettle will heat up water to 176°F and maintain it for 2 hours before shutting off. For other warm keeping temperature modes, water will be maintained at the selected temperatures for 12 hours, then automatically shuts off.I like the kettle which heats up quickly in about 5 minutes. The insulation result of the kettle is also good. It can keep water warm at desired temperatures from 113°F-176°F up to about 12 hours.

Used from a few weeks now, works like a charm! One thing to note, it must be plugged in to operate, i had assumed it was a charge and go situation but it’s still very convenient.

Worked ONE time.
I followed directions and used it to boil water for initial cleaning, and it worked fine. After that it had issues. At first it would only power up and display “888”, which it was supposed to do for one minute – but it stayed that way. I unplugged and let it sit a while. I tried again – it displayed “888” for several minutes and finally displayed “—” showing its ready. But it wouldn’t do anything – quick touches, long touches – nothing worked. I unplugged it again. After some time, I decided to try one more time. It took longer than a minute, but displayed the “—“. I held the touch button. At this point, it should cycle through the different temp settings, which it did the first time. Now it just goes straight to 212 and starts heating. There are NO options for temperature anymore.The booklet has a website listed and I tried that… lots of products, but NOTHING for this product. It has email for tech support, but I don’t have time for that – I’m done! I will return it and buy a different brand.

Purchased this to keep in our camper.
It takes longer to come to temp than my household teakettle, but its compactness makes it easier to store and its small footprint takes up very little counter space. All in all, Iâm happy with it.But be warned: Filling it to capacity will likely cause it to boil over.
