Money saver!
First, I love the AccuSharp. To me, it’s the easiest kitchen knife sharpener to get the proper angle on, and it gets knives incredibly sharp. The fact that they took an already inexpensive, fantastic knife sharpener and allow you to change out the sharpening blades is awesome. They are easy to change out, and when you wear out one side you can flip them over before you have to replace.

I bought this sharpener almost 10 years ago. I’ve replaced the blades a few times and it still works as it did from day 1.I have tried another brand which was cheaper and same exact method, so I assumed it would give same result. Nope. Not nearly the edge that the AccuSharp provides.Not sure what’s special about this – wait, yes I am:-It’s AMERICAN MADE, a literal rarity these days.-It’s not made to be used and then thrown away. It could easily have been made this way, but they are assembled with screws, not glue. replacements blades may seem pricey (they have gone up 50%), but still cheaper than replacing the whole thing and that’s good for the environment.-It’s simple to use. It takes a few seconds and my blade is wicked sharp!I’ve bought several for gifts and had good reviews from the recipients.Also, remember that you can reverse the blades after they get worn, and you’ll get long use from one set of blades!
