Fabulous way to divide your drawers.
I wanted to upgrade beyond plastic and paper boxes in my new furniture drawers so I bought these. Theyâre great. They have Home on the end so that when you fit them into your drawers, they fit tightly but arenât difficult to install. And they look niceânot cheap.

What I like most about these drawer dividers is that the ratcheting extension system holds well and has a long extension range, so they can fit many sizes of drawers. I had trouble getting them to keep firmly in place. I found that the best way to do this was to push hard on the ends simultaneously instead of just extending them by pulling them apart. They have a fairly dense foam that compresses at either end and if you do not push very hard, they won’t stay put very well, especially after a couple of hours. If the drawer they are to be used in is not very sturdy, pushing hard enough to get them to stay put would likely break the drawer. If you used double-sided tape, it would help, but then they are not as quickly moved or as easily removed. The other thing I didn’t like was that if used in a drawer full of papers, paper can easily slide under the inner half of the divider. These are not huge problems for most uses, but could be for some. For a temporary divider, they work fine. The other thing is that you cannot use them to divide a drawer in more than one direction, as in dividing a large drawer into three compartments, as the horizontal divider would break the vertical one. They work best at dividing a heavily built drawer into vertical sections; for this purpose, they are a faster solution than making a divider from wood, for instance.
