Just What I Needed
Good 8″ lid at a fair price. It fits all my saute pans nicely and I like the steam vent, too. It came with all the handle parts which went together quickly and I was in business.

Every pot has its lid
Iâm hopeful that this may work for multiple pots in the future, but I primarily wanted it for use with a Viking 8â stainless steel skillet (also known as a frying pan). The fit isnât perfect but it does cover the pan, and any sizing issues are not the fault of the lid. In short, I think itâs going to be fine. The lid comes with the five handle pieces in a plastic bag (handle, inner and outer stainless pieces, a plastic spacer/washer, and a screw to hold it together). There are no assembly instructions, but itâs easy enough to figure it out and it only takes a minute. The quality of the lid is fine for its intended purpose. If you need an inexpensive lid for occasional use, this should work fine.

Very lightweight
This 8″ lid fit on our 8″ skillet perfectly and stays in place. It works well as designed and was easy to attach the knob to the top. The knob does stay cool to the touch although the glass lid can get quite hot. I reduced the number of stars to 3 because it is the lightest weight lid I have ever owned and I don’t believe it will have good durability as all the components feel very fragile.

I See My Food!
Not sure how important it is to see your food when cooking at this size, but it hits all the expectations, price is in the zone, cleans up easily but you will probably want to dry it by hand, not air dry.

Domed Lid, Good Fit, Cheap Feel
Very light glass lid for 8 inch pans, so light that it feels a bit cheap, so unsure of the durability of this lid. The knob was easy to install, but also has a somewhat cheap feel to it; you do need to tighten it with a screwdriver. It does fit two of our 8 inch fry pans, one that has sloped sides, and one that is more straight sided, so thatâs a big plus that it can fit different style pans. The lid is slightly domed, another good point, as it allows for cooking items that need that clearance (burgers, etc.) without scrunching the food or getting stuck to the lid. The vent helps disperse steam and also helps keep the glass lid relatively clear so that you can monitor the food while it cooks. For about $10 (at time of review), not a bad price, has some good features, but still has that cheap feel to it.

Lightweight
Very nice lightweight glass lid for my 8″ pans. It fits my fry pan and my cast iron skillet perfectly. Easy assembly and dishwasher safe.

Cheap Handle
The glass on this lid almost feels like plastic. It has a very thin rim. The handle which came unattached with no instructions was fairly easy to assemble but it appears to be a light aluminum and plastic. Although the instructions say this is dish washable. Of course it is made in China. I wanted a steamer lid and the website said it was a stainless steel rim but does that mean the steam hole is not stainless steel?

Perfect for 8 inch pans and pots!
Simple and fits both my 8inch pans nicely. No complaints but would have been nice to include instructions but it was easy enough to figure out.
