    It’s better than expected
    I got this knife just to see how it compares to my expensive knifes and I absolutely love this thing. It’s not going to beat those hand made and expensive knifes in the fit and finish department, but it’s very close and is an absolute gem of a knife.

    Nice high end knife….
    This is a really nice and sharp high end knife. It comes well packaged and would work great as a gift as well. Simply wrap it and you’re all set. I’ve used it on alot of different foods and no issues. I really like how sharp it is and seems to keep it’s edge for quite awhile. It also has a nice look to it. I’ve slowly been replacing my knives with a better selection and better looking. This one fits the bill really well. I wouldn’t hesitate on buying this knife.

That aside the knife feels really good in average sized hands. If you have large hands you may want to reconsider. And because its designed for boning, the steel blade is flexible enough to reach those hard to get areas. The knife comes super sharp with its beautiful polished handle and decorative blade. All in all, the Gutoky knife makes a perfect addition to any cutlery collection.

    Beautiful design, lasts well
    I’ve been using this knife on variety of foods (vegetables, meat, bread) and I’m very happy with how it is working. It’s very sharp and cuts very clean. It was accidentally left in the water for a couple hours and hasn’t rusted either. I’ve used it for several months and it doesn’t need sharpening yet. My only issue is that after many washes, the handle has lost it’s color and has become a bit dull. It’s not a problem since the knife still works perfectly, but for aesthetic purposes it might be an issue to someone.

    Beautiful knife! Sharp and nice to use
    When I opened the box I was impressed by how gorgeous this knife is. The Damascus steel shines and is clearly forged well, the handle is thick looks like it could also be appropriate for a beautiful katana. The whole knife could easily be mounted as a display piece. The attention to detail is fantastic.Cooking is my happy place. I don’t just cook to eat, I love the ritual of it, which means the tools I use are part of that ritual. This knife isn’t just nice to look at, it does a great job being used for its true purpose. The blade is very sharp, it glides through whatever I’m cutting with ease and little pressure needed.The handle is larger than I’m used to, that’s not a complaint just a difference I noted. It’s taking a little getting used to but it’s very comfortable and easy to grip because of its size and rounded shape. This can help prevent hand slips which is very important when working with sharp blades.I’m very happy to add this to my cooking arsenal. I have no doubt it will be very useful. Time will tell how well the blade will hold up, but I’ve used cheap blades in the past and even though they start out sharp you can feel that they’ll dull quickly. This one does not have that feel, it feels like it’s going to last. I have my knives sharpened every few months anyway so we’ll see how well it does until then. So far I have a lot of confidence in it. Plus it’s awfully pretty to look at both while I’m using it and while it’s stored on the knife rack.

    Nice looking knife, decent quality, little spendy.
    It looks nice and is working well but I don’t like the handle quite as much. Overall though it is working well, just not sure the price is justified.
