This utensil kit is very high quality and perfect for camping or traveling. The fork, spoon, knife and chopsticks are sturdy and lightweight. They are perfectly sized slightly smaller than everyday utensils. The utensils are made of stainless steel and have gone through the dishwasher about 6 times with no change in their appearance. The neoprene zippered pouch works perfectly. It holds the utensils snuggly so they do not rattle and Is thick enough to prevent the utensils from damaging camping gear in a tightly packed backpack. I really like the fact that the kit includes chopsticks which are useful certain circumstances. The value is amazing.

Purchased this set for my sonâs college dorm room. Very pleased to find it as it came with a neoprene, zippered storage bag to store & protect.( NO kitchen in his dorm room; just a sink) The case is slightly padded to protect. It holds a standard place setting plus chop sticks I threw in a stainless steel straw & a paring knife for when he wants to cut apples, celery, etc, for snacks. I am certain the sturdy bag will protect everything. The knife wasnât as sharp as a steak knife, but would certainly cut pizza or dorm left overs, fork & spoon were standard. The weight of the utensils Wes nice in – hand; NOT too flimsy, my son mainly uses the spoon for coffee . He says that they clean up easily & appreciates just being able to wash, dry, & then put the bag in his desk or back pack! ( great for on the go potlucks where you are asked to provide your own table service! MY son says that he gets compliments @ potlucks all the time on his environmentally friendly table service! I have NO idea how the neoprene sleeve washes as he has only put away clean silver thus far & there has been NO need for washing! ( We hand washed & hung to dry before using.

We love the safety aspect of dining out with our own silverware these days. Instead of dipping silverware in hot water before the meal, we clean at the end before returning them to the pouches. The ware is medium weight and the zip cases can easily slip into the purse or jacket pocket. Yes, you will need to clean with soap and water upon returning home. I would suggest cleaning the case before the first use and at least bi-monthly. Soak the case then allow it to air dry.

These are very thin utensils with sharp edges, so I wouldn’t recommend them for children. But for someone who brings lunch to work every day, like I do, these are perfect. They are small, lightweight, and inexpensive enough that I bought the 4 set to have plenty on hand if I lose one or don’t get around to washing them for the next day. Overall a great value.
