Black material on and under the rim
There is some kind of black material on the underside of the rim that won’t wash out, and I’ve washed these at least a half dozen times. It’s in the crevice between outside rim and the underside, and it has discolored the underside of the rim as well. It’s not gray, it’s black, and it ends up on my hands where it has to be literally scrubbed off; on my dish cloths and towels. I don’t know what it is, but I have never experienced this with any other stainless bowls, and I don’t feel these are safe to use. And although they are just the right size for what I wanted, they are very lightweight, and I think dropping them would probably damage, or at least dent them.

These 2 stainless steel mixing bowls are perfect for salads, mixing anything, or even holding fruits. They clean easily by hand or the dishwasher. They are wide and have some depth to them, although old ones that I have are much deeper than these.Iâm giving them three stars because after they were washed, they had a couple of funny stains on them that I couldnât wipe off.Nevertheless, I do like them AND they are perfectly priced.

Mixing made easy
These stainless steel mixing bowls are perfect for my cooking preparation needs. They are about 5 quarts, 11 inches in diameter at the widest. They are flat bottom so they will not move around too much or topple over. I love the look of them and it gives off that professional kitchen atmosphere. They don’t scratch easily and are very easy to clean afterwards.
