Fantastic SHARP Paring or Steak Knife
This is indeed a wonderfully crafted, handsome knife and the only reason I’m returning it is that is TOO SHARP FOR THE LIKES OF ME!!!Within seconds of my first using it to cut an orange, it not only went through the orange like butter, but also sliced my finger with which I was holding it! My fault, not the knife’s and with band aids and some TL&C my finger should heal.We bought it to replace our favorite serrated paring knife which had gone missing, for several weeks. But wouldn’t you know, our old one showed up in an unlikely drawer just minutes after I had finished bandaging my finger. Clearly, a signal from a Higher Power to stick with our old, somewhat duller knife. Sorry, Mr. Karv, but back you go.

Nice knife but…
The serrated blade is sharp, and the knife handles very well. I read the criticisms before ordering, and while the handle is on the thin side, it is thick enough to be comfortable in the kitchen. The only flaw, and I didn’t give it 5 stars, is that the rivet head on the handle near the base of the blade does not match the shape of the wood. It is proud of the wood and exposes a crisp edge that I find annoying.

GREAT for Tomatoes
This summer our tomatoe plant went berzerk and gave us about 50 tomatoes. Using a non-serated knife was not working because the skin was preventing the knife from penetrating… picked up this little gem and boy it works great. This knife is extremely sharp and looks great among my other chef knives with wooden handles. This is my go-to knife for slicing tomatoes for sandwiches and salads. This one is awesome!

This is a very inexpensive knife. That said, the packaging is as good as any highend brand. Nice looking, came sharp. I sliced partially frozen chicken, very thinly for stir fry. I will be ordering more to replace my worn steak knives.

C’est un beau couteau mais je trouve qu’il ne coupe pas bien. En fait il est difficile, c’est bon pour une tomate mais à peu près tout, si vous coupez des pommes de terre ou des carottes et il reste pas dans sa ligne car il y a des dents d’un côté, c’est assez plate mais c’est un beau couteau donc libre à vous. Peut-être ça va faire votre affaire, mais moi il ne deviendra pas mon couteau préféréJe trouve la lame un peu trop épaisse, cela pourrait être un couteau beaucoup plus tranchant si la lame aurait été symétriquement denteler et aiguisée . Ce serait bien plus pratique.
