Terrific assortment and perfect for cookware surfaces.
I have a new set of cookware and Iâd like to take care of it and protect the finish. That meant not using my favorite metal kitchen tongs with it. I found this set and liked the assortment. I was a little concerned that the silicone ends would make it hard to pick things up, but that hasnât been a problem. The silicone isnât thick, so the tong ends are firm and stable. I really like the stand support which allows you to set them down without having the ends touch the counter. I also like the slide lock feature which allows you to store them closed. When open, theyâre very wide so theyâd take up a lot of space in the utensil drawer if they couldnât be closed.

These work well. I picked them because I wanted tongs that you can set down without the ends touching the counter, and these do all have the little triangular rests. Very convenient. I also like the variety! Only complaint is that the handles are longer than I would like. Makes them a bit cumbersome and they do not fit as well in my drawer.

I like the stands so the “blades” don’t rest on the counter, although they are a minor inconvenience when storing in the drawer.Note: I bought these to replace my black plastic tongs due to the recent scare about flame retardant chemicals in recycled black plastic. Of course, it now appears those articles were incorrect. I guess you can’t always trust the Internet…
