You have to fiddle with these to get them to fit the pan correctly but they work so well itâs worth it. Cakes come out flat and evenly baked.

These were a great purchase. Would have given 5 stars but the stitching has came out of two of them. In all fairness, I do “pull” on them to get them as tight as I can. So, that might be on me. Wash really well. I use them on every cake I make (which is a lot). I have since bought two additional sets as gifts. Would definitely recommend.

Great Cake Strips
I like everything about the strips. They are adjustable for different size cake pans. So easy to use. Just soak in water, wring them out and place around cake pan. I couldnât believe the difference in my baked cakes. No browning around the edge and surprisingly no brown on the top and the tops of the cakes were level, no dome in the middle. I highly recommend, to up your cake baking game.

I hate baking. But I had to make a carrot cake from scratch for my son’s birthday. I have a terrible history with layer cakes, and saw a mention of these strips in a recipe I found for the carrot cake. I figured why not try them. OH MY GOSH. Seriously. This cake was P.E.R.F.E.C.T. The sides were the same texture as the top and not all hard with it pulling away from the pan. I didn’t soak mine for hours like many of the other reviews. I just ran them under cold water until they were saturated and then I wrung out the excess water.
They were a little annoying to adjust but SO WORTH IT. Seriously, whether you love or hate baking – these things are AMAZING!!!!!

I was so skeptical at first, thinking that this was just “a thing,” but it really works, as you can see from my pix! The first time was a learning curve, and my chocolate cakes came out so so. The next time, I soaked them in a container with a lid overnight, wrung them and placed them on my poundcake, and my cake came out perrrrfect! I enjoy baking and this just took it up a notch for Me, bcs no one likes wasting cake, having to trim off the top to level it! I have since made several more cakes and now its smooth sailing! Soak them, wring them, wrap them and bake! The only agitation is pulling them tight enough around your pan, before you slide them into the oven. Once you get the hang of that lil part, you’re good to go! Happy baking babes!ðð¾

Does not come with instructions
I used these one time so far and the cake came out rather dense and
flat. Although I did want a flat top to my cakes, since that was the whole point of me using these, I didn’t realize it would affect the texture of the cake. I later researched online and read that when you use cake strips you need to increase the baking time. I guess I will give these another try. Just very disappointed that there was absolutely no instructions that came with them. I knew to soak them in water and then wring them out, but aside from that did not realize I needed to do anything differently.
