Great knife sharpener

Easy to use, works great
Finally, I found a sharpener for my ceramic knives! I have 3 ceramic knives I like very much, but they were getting dull. Followed the instructions on the little printout (for slightly dull knives) and my knives became sharp again. I had a stainless steel Faber Ware paring knife that could not be used; it was so dull it barely cut anything. I sharpened that on the tungsten steel alloy slot 20 times as instructed, and wow, it’s like a new knife. I tried some scissors, the small dull scissors I use for sewing did not turn out well, i.e. it still would not cut cloth. But my big kitchen knife got a bit sharper, not sure if size was an issue. I felt like I could not get the scissors into the sharpener as smoothly compared to the knives. In general, I have found sharpening scissors to be a hit or miss. But I was very happy that I could get all my knives easily sharpened with this.

Really easy to use and works!
This is so easy to use and works great. I have already sharpened 2 knives and 2 pairs of scissors. The knives were both super dull when I started, like as dull as a spoon edge. Now, shiny and sharp!When you are sharpening a very dull knife it does make metal flakes, so I did mine over the kitchen sink.Only improvement would be if they printed the directions on it (where to do the scissors, how many times to pull the blade through each spot). It’s on the directions, but would be more convenient on the unit itself; I wrote it on with Sharpie. :)Is this for the pro chef? No. But for the price point, I give it 5 stars.
