Great balance, wooden handles, and very sharp blades
When I received the package, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of all three knives. The Serbian Chef knife caught my attention first and has become my go-to knife for all my kitchen tasks.All three knives come pre-sharpened with a unique cowboy-etched design. Since the design is etched on the blade, I’m not sure how long it will last once I start sharpening the knife.I really appreciate that the handles are made of wood rather than composite or plastic. Did I mention that the blade is extremely sharp? You have to be very careful the first time you use it.I also recommend washing the knives with water, drying them with a clean towel, and applying some kind of cooking oil or fat to protect the blades.

I recently ordered the 3 piece cactus and knight butcher knife set for personal use. We have several high end knife sets but none have the butcher knife. I thought these looked rustic and wanted to try them out. I was surprised at the texture of the knife. I know it says hand hammered textured but I guess I didn’t understand what that meant. I don’t really care for it. I wish the handles were as high quality looking as the detail on the blades. It feels mismatched in person. Three stars for meeting expectations.

Not only are they ridiculously sharp & functional, these are an absolute conversation piece as well.
These are NOT just for show. They are delivered pre-sharpened to a crazy-sharp level that easily slices through sheets of paper like you see on TV. They are amazing for large cuts of meat and give off the “hot knife through butter” impression with each use.There are also very cool looking with super-intricate etching in each knife that evoke a conversation with all that see them. We aren’t storing these in the draw, but rather have them displayed (safely) in our kitchen. The handles are very strong and sturdy and there is a small metal look on the back side if you want to add some hanging device. Really like these knives!!!

This Set is Serious
This knife set it serious. Holy smokes, it looks like it was forged on a battlefield by a Viking himself! There is so much detail, including the hammered blades, the beautiful curved shapes, the gorgeous polished wooden handles, the cactus and knights etchings, the finger holes for precision, and these blades are sharp! If you are serious about your food prep, this is your set. It is a little heavier than I am used to, but it does make you feel like you are part Viking too. I included a picture with a standard butter knife as a size reference. This is a fantastic set and would make a great gift for both Viking lovers, chefs, and home chefs.
