Pleasantly surprised – SHARP!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with these knives. I ordered them becuase they looked beautiful. I like the asian architecture on the blades. In person, the images are much more subtle. They are the color of the blade, not the black outline that you see in the online pictures.When I received these, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The knife covers are simply heavy paper. I had planned to keep them, but they were laying on the counter, and they got food on them, so all but one was tossed, and you can see the one I kept under the viking blade in my photo. I’m not a big fan of plastic waste, so I suppose a little paper is ok, and no big deal if they don’t have blade covers.I used the chef knife to cut an onion, and WOW! It was so sharp that it made chopping so quick, easy, and did not feel like the blade might slip while trying to cut. I have recently purchased a Cuisinart steel chef’s knife, and this one surpasses that one in sharpness. I wonder how long that will last. I wish I could get my blades to be as sharp as they are new with resharpening! Anyway, I also used the meat cleaver on a whole chicken. Wow! So nice to easily chop through the joint. The weight of the blade also makes it simple.These are beautiful and they work so well. Yes, I would recommend.

They make not a great, but a good gift
The knife quality is above average, but don’t expect that much, they are a bit short for my tast and it’s too soon to tell how ling they will hold their shaprness. One thing going for them is that they definitely look good, but expect to repackage them if you intend to give them out as a gift

I love this set! These are super sharp and make meal prep a breeze. They have a good balanced feel to them making cutting effortless. I receive HelloFresh boxes which require you to prep the meat and veggies and using this set is fun. I’m sure there are others out there, but these are far better than any others I have used.

Sharp and easy to use
This set of knives are quite versatile. I do not have large hands and yet I am able to use these because they are designed well for small and large hands. Each knife has a hole if you look in the blade close to the handle. It allows for a better grip and that is fantastic because the pressure needed to make a cleaver useful is huge. Having a better grip allows the wielder to avoid mistakes which could be bad. The edge is sharp! I believe these will last me a long time as they appear to be very well made. Of course I will always hand wash and dry them, and keep them sharp.

Nice set of knives
While the description for these knives was for camping, hunting etc. things I do not partake in I did like the look of these knives. They are very Ramboesque in the looks and size department and they are very sharp. I have only used two out of the three knives and so far, they work great, cut really good and make me feel like I am some kind of adventurer prepping my meals with my bad @ss knives

These are so beautiful
These knives are beautiful and sharp. The way they handle is great. I had such an easy time prepping our meat for dinner with them. The only issue I have with them is they are too beautiful it makes me not want to use them but display them instead. I will have to get a magnet board so I can have them displayed.

This set is decent overall. The chef knife and the cleaver seem to be better made than the viking knife. I’m not sure if it’s a difference in the mounting of the blade or what. For some reason though, the viking knife isn’t the same standard. Blades are decent on all of them and come really nicely sharpened. Would make for a good starter set or a thoughtful gift.
