Very powerful mixer
This mixer is much more powerful and versatile than our old mixer. I have never used a Vitamix mixer as I have never wanted to spend so much money on an occasionally used appliance, but I think this mixer is kind of the poor manâs version. I have always been fascinated at the idea of using a blender to make hot soup so I tried that with this blender. My recipe sucked, but the blender did great. After 5 minutes or so on high the ingredients were puréed and the soup was steaming. I also used the blender to crush ice for frozen margaritas and it worked great. It chewed up the ice in no time.My only complaint is about the size of the tank/jar(?) and that may be totally an optical illusion. As compared to my previous blender the jar on this blender seems quite short and makes me feel like it is smaller. However, it is also a different shape. My former blender is tall and shaped kind of like an upside down pyramid, whereas this blender is more cube shaped. Again, it is possible that they hold exactly the same quantity.I wish this blender came with a manual and maybe some recipes or tips for usage. It is simple enough to figure out how to operate, but I feel like it can do so much more than I even understand. (I looked to Vitamix instructions to get at least a sense of how to use it, but again it would be helpful if they included a manual or a link to online instructions.).

Great power and capacity
I was looking for a blender that could be my bar blender. Seeing how it is going to need to pulverize ice and other difficult tasks, I wanted something that could deliver on the power. I was very pleased to see how easily it blended up some daiquiris. The capacity is also great. It is a short container, but wider than most others I’ve seen. So it really holds a lot. It also has a nice feature set. I appreciate having the pulse and the variable speed dial instead of the notched presets. Everything seems very well made with the buttons and switches being very solid and the container and lid snap together securely. Overall I’m very pleased and look forward to mixing up a lot of fun cocktails in the future.

2 of the hardest things to do in a blender are ice cream drinks and crushing ice. This machine did both of those chores with ease.

Nice power! Large 68-oz.
This blender has a max power of 2200-watts, enough for frozen fruit most nuts. Ikm not going to risk macadamia nuts. Even grape seeds got completely pulverized. Ice was easily ground, too. 68-ounces is plenty for a lot of daiquiris! The speed control is a continuous dial, which is like better than step-like settings. The timer is handy. I wish the pitcher had more of a taper from top to bottom, which seems to help mix better, but other than that i really like this blender.

Easy to use
This blender works well and is easy to use. It’s big enough to hold as many fruits as you need for an amazing smoothie. The blades are sharp and it works smoothly and is super easy to clean.

Powerful blender simple to use
This professional type blender is simple to use but powerful. It can turn ice cubes to soft snow almost like a snow cone. The pitcher has measure lines for liquid content and a lid with a removable insert to pour or place items in while the pitcher is sitting on the base. Includes a tamper to help move food around preventing it from sticking to the sides of the blender.Two switches one for constant power and another for pulse blending. Two knobs one for a 1 to 5 minute timer and the other for speed of blades.Easy to clean with warm water and dish soap.
