Have realistic expectations, not great but is useful
Ok some of the reviewers may have had unrealistic expectations, the price point on this is $4.99. It’s probably worth $3.99 at most. If the plastic was a rigid plastic I think this product would work much better than it does. I tried it with ginger since I didn’t have any hard parmesan on hand. Grating the ginger did exactly what I expected – it was mush. BUT to be completely fair I have a large more expensive grater that has holes the same size as this and I can honestly say that it grated it exactly the same as the expensive one. I did however try the grater with nutmeg. It worked perfectly with the nutmeg. My guess is that it would handle parmesan the same as a fine grater would. The peeler worked just fine, only issue I found was the flexible plastic. It probably would have been much more effective with peeling if it was rigid plastic. The slicer is not meant for anything big. Ginger is a pain in the neck to slice, it honestly didn’t do too bad. It created really thin slices…really thin – think sushi ginger thin. One thin that I didn’t know it had was an orange peel thing on the end under the grater. That works great too.

I’ve gotten so used to buying items that don’t cost much and expecting them to be better than they are. I’ve been conditioned by imported items. This is one of those times that I’m not fully satisfied with a purchase.I’ve got individual slicers, graters, and peelers…..three separate items for the catch-all kitchen drawer. My thinking was HOW COOL would it be to have one kitchen tool that does all three. This 3-in-1 tool changed my mind.As you can see from the pic, it is small. Overall length of a spoon, for 3 specific uses.In all fairness, it does work, but it makes you work way too much for the results you get.Here’s an example…I needed some grated ginger for a salad. I used the new 3-in-1 tool to grate the ginger, taking about 100 swipes over the grater. The results are on the far left. Small strokes, many strokes, and not much grated ginger. The larger grater at the top was used 30 swipes and you can see the pile of ginger I got.IF, and only IF, you live alone or need a light weight and compact tool to take camping or for use in your doll house, then this would work for you.The peeler is sharp and works well. The slicer is just not designed for quick output.Overall, not impressed.

bad peeler and slicer
this is no good. the peeler does not work the slicer doesn’t work well. i haven’t tried the grater or the orange peeler but i don’t grate stuff or eat oranges regularly. i would not buy this

IT’S GOOD FOR WHAT IT IS (a budget-friendly, multi-purpose kitchen tool)
THE GOOD: If you have limited space and would rather not spend multiples of the price, this multi-peeler/grater/slicer is not a bad choice. I have used it to slice garlic, peel potatos & carrots, grate nutmeg, and shave lemon zest. It works for all of these things. Mine came in the red color. If I’m honest, this would be something I’d want if I were broke or moving out on my own for the first time, especially if I had a small kitchen with limited space.THE BAD (at least for folks who have gotten used to having the pricier, leveled-up versions of this product): The plastic frame is thin. The grating surface is small and not super-sharp. The slicing blade is in the center of the frame (to be fair, the blade faces the grater so you can put your thumb right on it while using the peeler and hold it by the finger-wells while using the grater).Full disclosure: I currently have high-quality, individual versions of all of these tools, but I don’t think it’s fair to measure this tool against those. This is a basically 3 dollar-store items in one decent little unit. It’s not going to last forever, but I remember being broke in a tiny apartment and would have really appreciated having a tool like this back then. 4 stars.

Compact kitchen tool
This is a great little all-in-one grater, slicer and peeler. It’s pretty compact and fits well in your hand. It’s actually curved which adds a bit of ergonomic benefit to the tool. It’s light weight so I wouldn’t put too much pressure on it. If you’re doing some light grating or slicing this thing is a no-brainer!

Not sure about this kitchen tool
This 3in1 multipurpose kitchen tool for peeling, slicing, and grating seems like a great buy. At less than $6, I figured I would give it a try. I didnât mind the lime green color that I received. Upon close inspection, I noticed the metal was kinda dingy. It doesnât look brand new with the lack of shine, that you would expect on a new kitchen tool as well as the scratches on the metal. This can be seen on the peeling and slicing parts of the tool in the photos. In addition, the plastic seems rather flimsy, and the grating element does not seem super secure within the oval border of the tool. I may try to use this gently after a few good washes and see if it is even worth keeping. I donât think this item is worth $6. I think it belongs at the dollar store.

Basic but Functional Peeler
Feels pretty cheaply made, and you canât swap out the blades, but it does the job. Unlike similar tools, itâs easy to clean, which is a plus. Itâs super cheap, so if it breaks, itâs not a big deal to replace.

doesn’t do anything well or easily
I didn’t have high expectations for this inexpensive multi-tool but even low expectations weren’t met. I have a small camper so a tool with multiple uses can help save space. I tried to peel a carrot and gave up. Tried peeling the carrot from either direction using either hand and neither could manage to get a smooth, long peel. Probably because the blade didn’t pivot like it should. Tried grating a parmesan and didn’t work well for that either. Don’t bother with this one.
