Roasted chicken falling off the bone, veggies infused with the flavor of whatever you are cooking them with are just a couple of my favorites.I like the quality of this and the capacity–a bit more than 6 quarts–which is sufficient to cook an entire chicken or brisket. Seller says that the inner pot can be used directly on the stove–an advantage. A glass lid gives you a good view of what is going on without having to lift up the lid and let heat escape (though not that big a deal.)I wish it had a timer to allow a delayed start but I understand that for food safety reasons that may not be the greatest idea.Quality kitchen accessory and useful as well.

I had crockpots years ago and had great results but they were always too large & took up too much space.This is a great size & cooks excently. Iâve been using it twice a week. The browning function with the removable pot makes for an attractive looking meal.

I bought this to cook beans in. The first time I cooked them I had to cook them for like 24 hours, trying to get the texture right in the beans, and then it seemed like they had burned on. I put beans on high last night at 7 PM at 7 AM this morning, they are only warm and the beans are hard as a rock. Right now Iâm looking on here for a regular ceramic crockpot. No more metal insert ones!
