Long overdue product.
These pans arrived on time and exceptionally well packaged. All four of these pieces came in individually wrapped in a protective plastic bag inside of the box. And I certainly enjoy seeing that. When this is done it will prevent the pans and trays from scratching each other in transit. Basically, they are all well protected. When I see this type of packaging hat to me tells me the manufacture truly cares about first impressions. I have to admit, it absolutely worked for me.I am a mechanical engineer, and I work in a factory and see all types of metal work (rapid progressive production, stamping, and heavy die forming). I have to admit these pans are amazing. The metal is thick, and they appear to be very well constructed. The form is nice, and there are no wrinkles at any of the bends. The lip is superbly tucked back into itself (which gives its strength) and around the corners there are no burrs, or sharp edges anywhere. The tray is another piece of well-constructed art in my eyes. The forms are clean, straight, and nest nicely into the pan. The perforations are cleanly punched with no warping and each and every hole is clean, meaning no sharp edges or burrs anywhere. I am actually very impressed with the manufacturing process here. I can only speak for the set I received but the coating is evenly distributed over the 100% of the surfaces.I think the size of these pans if perfect for cooking a meatloaf or anything else that will fit. And it truly is about time someone designed a pan with an easily removable drip tray. When these are nested together there is plenty of room under the pan for the drips to gather. The lip in the drip tray has just enough of a handle as to not take up too much room in the oven. Love this set!I have not used this for a meatloaf yet, but it has cooked my salmon submerged in a butter bath with garlic and herbs nicely. And the clean up was effortless. The quality is astonishing, and the product is simply amazing. Highly recommend having a set!

Itâs a 2 pack!
Bonus that I didnât realize it was a pack of 2! My recipe makes 2 loaves since I grew up in a big family. The lift out tray is super handy and since itâs slightly raised and has the holes, thereâs a spot for the grease to drain. One of the lift out trays has a damaged spot in the finish but otherwise theyâre perfect

Great way to make meatloaf without it turning into a greasy mess
This meatloaf pan is an excellent way to make meatloaf while cutting out a lot of the grease that comes from using cheap high fat ground meat. Cooking it in this lets the load retain a significant amount of its internal moisture/fat, while also draining the majority of the external moisture/fat.You’ll have to experiment a bit to find your sweet spot (with regards to ingredients, your oven’s temperature quirks, and baking time), but I was able to get a method down for a beef meatloaf that would come out almost crisp on the outside while still juicy on the inside. I wish I had ordered these a long time ago when ground beef was still cheap.

Using it Tonight for Dinner
I read another reviewer who cooked salmon in this pan, and I have four pieces of filet thawing right now. I used to layer bread at the bottom of a bread pan when making meatloaf, to soak up the drippings, which depending on what seasonings you use can make the bread very tasty. This pan looks like it’ll handle cakes and some pastries, too. The drip pan doesn’t fully spread across the pan, so take care when lifting it, to avoid food falling out on the sides, but for meatloaf I don’t think it’s going to be an issueVery nice size and weight.

Excellent and easy!
This is a nice set! I’ve always used bread pans for meatloaf before, but I feel now that I was missing out not using something like these! They’re non-stick and very good at it. I love that they lift out the loaf so easily and any grease you don’t want is left behind. Super easy clean up, no drama at all. Looks brand new even after being used! I am very happy with these light-weight and lovely pans- they make cooking easier! I’m sure you can remove the drain piece and use them for bread pans, too, but I haven’t tried that yet. For meatloaf, I definitely recommend them!

They DO rust when you wash them
I hope this isn’t being unfair, but it did say they were rust proof. And before even using them I had to wash them, I saw rusty yellow brown water dripping out of them onto my dishwasher, and when I tried to swing them to force the water out of the curled edges more brown rust water came out. I’m glad that it’s not dripping into the actual container, but how can these be called rust proof if they do indeed rust? Even if i were to hand wash them, the water would have collected in the curled edges and caused rusting.I’ve be carful with using these with any sort of metal (fork, knife, spood, or metal spatula) because it will cut the Teflon coating. Its best to use these with plastic or rubber tools. I’m worried about washing them after making meatloaf because I usually have to soak my other pans and that’s when they also had rusting issues. I might try to find the old bread pans that actually never rusted. Its hard for keep up with these Teflon ones that scratch easily and still have rusting issues. When it comes to size, they work fine, they drippings do go under the grate if you are making meat loaf, but where the grate handles and the pan make contact, the Teflon will eventually ware off. I’m not sure why, but I thought these ones were made differently than all the other Teflon covered metal pans, but they aren’t.

Nonstick, works well!
This did indeed drain the fat from a meatloaf I made today. It is also super nonstick — so much so that when I lifted out my meatloaf it immediately slid off the insert (fortunately I caught it with a plate before it broke in half). My only quibble with this design is that the insert isn’t flush with the short sides of the pan. There is maybe half an inch gap on each side, which I took a photo of. Because meatloaf is thick, it can be pressed into the pan without going around the edge of the insert, but it doesn’t make for a perfectly clean edge. With bread dough (or something that expands) the dough might expand around the edge of the insert.
