Be prepared to double them up
These silicone muffin pans are incredibly flimsy. The “2-pack” is almost misleading because you essentially have to use both pans together to achieve any sort of rigidity. They’re so thin that using just one results in a wobbly mess. I honestly don’t understand why they’d even bother manufacturing them this thin unless they were intended for a dollar store.Once I doubled them up, they did bake muffins adequately. They are affordable, which is the only real positive I can find. But if you’re looking for sturdy, reliable silicone muffin pans, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Terrible. Too small, no even cooking
This is the second type of silicone muffin pan I’ve tried and I’m done. Silicone for muffins just doesn’t work. First, these are supposed to be “regular size”. Nope. I overfilled the cups and still ended up with 15 cups instead of 12. You can tell by just looking that these muffin cups are smaller than standard. Cooked my muffins for about 5 minutes MORE than I normally do and some are still goopy on the insides. Because these are so flimsy in texture you have to put them on a cookie sheet, but I noticed as I removed the muffins that the bottoms were super dark, very brown. So, basically we see that metal cooks things. Silicone doesn’t get hot enough to cook the edges, then going in to cook the inside of the muffin. But the bottom of the cup on the metal sheet gets hotter and too dark. Waste of a good batch of muffins.

Affordable & usable
Iâve been in the process for sometime now replacing all my muffin and baking pans with silicone products.Itâs obvious that these silicone muffin pans are very thin. Youâll also notice in one of the ad pictures that they have placed the muffin pan on top of cookie sheet in the oven. This will take care of any instability you find with this product.You canât argue with the affordable price and it will get your baking job done..I do recommend this product.

Silicone
At first I was kind of skeptical about placing these in the oven- only because the way the material feels. But it’s safe to cook in the oven- and the product comes out so smoothly/ easily. Easy to wash. I wouldn’t place in the the dishwasher- I would hand wash.

Great value
A little disclaimer here, I have not used these in the oven, nor do I intend to. I ordered these because I was looking for a simple silicone mold for a variety of uses. First, I wanted something that I could divide and freeze larger cans of things into smaller amounts – like tomato paste – to be thrown in a bag and pulled out of the freezer as needed. These worked perfectly for that. They had no noticeable reaction to being put in the freezer, and my frozen things came unstuck very easily. Second, I wanted to make homemade shower steamers, so I needed something that would give me a puck-like shape. These worked perfectly for that as well, no issues getting my steamers out in one piece. I have put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they washed up nicely with no warping or issues.

PI really like silicone pans, especially when making muffins or cupcakes because you can just pop them out. This is a nice pan, easy to clean, easy to use.

Good Product, Misleading Product Description, I Only Received One, Not Two
This is my first silicon baking product and I am very pleasantly surprised.The muffin pan performs exceptionally well, making it so easy to remove the baked muffins with no sticking, simply by flexing the pan. However, because the pans are so flexible and thin, you will have to place the pan on another pan, like a cookie sheet, something that I was not expecting.I canât speak for the product value since the product description indicates that two, twelve-cavity muffin pans are included for the price. However, I only received one pan.Regardless, I hope that the muffin pan continues to perform for many years to come. And during that time, I will continue to enjoy âevaluatingâ the product. ð
