When I buy asparagus, I put a half to an inch of water in the bottom of the produce bag and stand upright in the fridge door to keep it fresh. I was hoping these would be more stable. They are. I also ran an experiment because I admit I forget things in me fridge all the time. I bought cilantro, kale and asparagus.I put them in the containers as described and, well, I forgot about them for a month. The asparagus was BAD. The cilantro was only half bad, some was still usable, if I had tried. But the kale is still going strong. And the clean up was great; no stains; no smells; no issues. And they fit perfect in my fridge door.

They fit great on the top shelf of my fridge. I used to keep my fresh herbs in a cup with water and a baggie over them. This is soooo much better! They look clean. They are sturdy and wonât turn over. I donât have to worry about someone knocking them over when grabbing something out of the fridge. The lids are a little hard to get off, but not bad. No leaks. Work perfect and keep my herbs fresh.

I was skeptical but, read reviews lots of them..Glad I did I bought a few because, I also have a bunny and he gets fresh lettuce and herbs daily. honestly I was surprised his cilantro stayed fresh “no limping”..for 11 days..Now for me the lids were awkward to take on and off at first. Usually by the 2nd 3rd day the herbs usually turned into a waste of money. Not anymore..

The two stand up trays were stuck together. To make it worse, there was plastic packing in between them. I tried two tips from YouTubeâ¦didnât work.I then tried soaking them in hot water. That did the trick!I really like this idea to keep my herbs and green onion last longer. The only drawback is that I have to cut off the stems so it will fit the units.
