Not nonstick, needs oil or baking cups
I’ve used these twice now, and they’re not as good as typical nonstick muffin pans. The first batch overcooked and stuck on all sides. The second batch cooked faster by a few minutes and only stuck around the top edge. These muffin pans need oil or baking cups. They are regular size cupcakes on the small side.

They’re not cheaply made.I made some muffins yesterday and put the batter straight in one pan but sprayed the other pan with vegetable oil (to test the non-stick claim.) The pans really are non-stick! In fact, the muffins that were baked with the non-greased pan oddly came out a little easier/cleaner than the greased pan!I took off stars only because the product title says they’re for “mini cupcakes.” This is wrong and incorrect advertising annoys me. As far as I’m aware, this is just a regular muffin tin. Regular home-kitchen muffins and cupcakes are the same size and baked in the same tin. I don’t know any home bakers who have separate tins for cupcakes and muffins. I own some pans that are this size and they make regular muffins and cupcakes. I also own a few smaller pans that make mini muffins and cupcakes. I can imagine some people might own bigger pans that make giant muffins and cupcakes. These pans would certainly make smaller cupcakes than the giant size, but they definitely don’t make mini cupcakes!

I absolutely love these muffin pans! I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the price but I am blown away by the quality. They are extremely sturdy and quite hefty. They’re very well-made and super easy to clean. Yes, you have to use a muffin liner or baking spray – but I do that NO MATTER THE TYPE of muffin tin I use. I don’t care if they say it’s “non-stick” – I’m using a muffin liner or baking spray. But these are hands down the easiest muffin pans to clean that I’ve ever owned….that alone is worth 5 stars to me!
