I had dropped my crockpot lid and the handle broke off. My model was an older model that had a center screw and the u shaped handle had two holes that screwed into the lid . This new part was the correct diameter around that when screwed into the center of the glass, circumference covered the two open areas of the original handle, it is an even better handle than the original handle. This saved me from having to purchase an expensive new lid or having to buy a completely new crock pot leaving a perfectly working crock pot from having to be put in the garbage or sitting in a landfill! I was very happy I didnt have to fork out money to purchase a new crockpot for such a simple repair.
