You can never have enough manual can openers. Also, they eventually wear out. At this price point, I decided to try this set.When it came in, I checked them out. I was struck by its flimsy feel, and I wondered if it would do the job. Many manual can openers don’t work very well, even name brands purchased at big box stores. I grabbed two old cans of food I meant to throw away to test them.The opener punched through the steel without a problem. Then, as I cranked the wheel, it marched through the lid without a problem. It didn’t tear it up or skip spots, as cheap openers are prone to do. However, the ergonomics could have been better. This opener pinched my hands during use. For that reason, and the flimsy feel, is why this lost a star.However, it seems to open cans well. You don’t have much to lose at this price. Try it out.

Shorter than most
These seem to be well made, and do the job fine. But they’re shorter than most can openers I’ve had so I had to adapt to that a bit. Probably wouldn’t bother most people but something I though worth mentioning.
