I love this cast iron Dutch oven! Itâs my go to for everything I bake, especially my sourdough bread! Perfect size! My roasts are better cooked in this Dutch oven than any other pan!!

Great value, solid performer!
Well made, solid Dutch Oven. Good quality with a nice enamel coating and finish. Easy to clean. Versatile design to use typical (deep side down with lid), deep and shallow sides used as 2 separate pieces, or shallow side down with high domed lid (ideal for making bread!). Note that the shallow side has raised ribs on the cooking surface (not flat). Not having a handle sticking up on the lid means less clearance needed to fit in the oven as well. This is a great value since it costs 1/4 the price of what the “big name brand” is charging for comparable wares.

Absolutely LOVE this Dutch oven! The color is rich and vibrant. Itâs quite heavy, well enameled and a great size. Itâs a perfect size to bake bread or prepare a family meal. Love! Love! Love! I quit using all of my nonstick pots and pans the day this arrived. I will never not use cast iron again. The food we prepare taste different, by that I mean delicious and less like chemicals. The nonstick pans were flaking and do not hold up like a nice cast iron pan. Added benefits; oven safe! Multi use! I can make soup in the pot on the stove then turn around bake bread in that same pot! Cast iron is the way to go!

Bought this 5.5 qt enameled cast iron Dutch oven in July 7, 2022. Used it many times over the 2 and a half years. (Today is January 7, 2025)LOVE the size, itâs the perfect size for most soup recipes.Easy clean up. If something is sticking, or dried on, let it soak for a bit with soap and water and use a plastic scraper or gentle brush. No metal!Itâs heavy, but cast iron is heavy and most people should be good to handle it.Iâve never used metal on it and when I went to clean up the Dutch oven after using it for 2.5 yrs, I noticed a lot of chips in the enamel.Iâm so sad because at this point, it is no longer safe to use.Some things to think about when using enamel cast iron1) never use metal utensils.2) be careful with drastic temperature changes. It will crack or chip the enamel or even the iron itself3) itâs not for over the fire cooking4) Dutch ovens are great for soups and casseroles, stove top or oven.Loved it for while I had it. Glad I didnât pay an arm and a leg for it. Perhaps another brand that I would pay more for wouldâve been more durable ð¤·ð¼ââï¸I would possibly buy again, but not right now. I have others I can use, but the size as I mentioned above, was perfect for the basic soup recipe
