The plates are a little smaller than I expected but otherwise they’re great. They are fun colors and go in the microwave – my daughter is happy!

Colorful and eco-friendly tableware set that is dishwasher and microwave safe
The tableware is colorful and made from eco-friendly wheat straw. The set includes 6 plates, 6 bowls, and 6 cups in various vibrant colors like teal, pink, yellow, orange, beige and dark blue. The plates are about 9 inches in diameter, the bowls are slightly over 5 inches wide, and the cups stand at approximately 4 1/4 inches tall. At the bottom of each piece, I see several symbols that give me more information. There is a symbol of a glass and a fork, which tells me that these items are food-safe and suitable for serving meals. Additionally, there is a dishwasher symbol, meaning these items are dishwasher safe. A snowflake icon means that they are freezer safe. Lastly, a steam icon indicates that they are microwave safe,so I can reheat leftovers on them. The material of the tableware has tiny dots and specks, which I know are typical of wheat straw plastic. I think these natural imperfections give the tableware pieces a rustic and natural look.

Wheat dishes are one of the best kind to get
Iâve now been using wheat dishes as my everyday dishes. Whatâs so great about them is the fact that they are sturdy, attractive with their natural look, microwave, safe, dishwasher, safe, and lightweight. These dishes are perfect for any age. Iâve had a few others now for about six months. Iâm extremely happy with them Then they are similar to a plastic. The only thing that will happen is knife cuts our app too, the permanent but in my personal opinion, I donât care. I had some beautiful stoneware dishes, but theyâre very difficult to handle weight wise. They also can get hot when put in a microwave and my biggest worry was the weight in my Cabinets. I donât have to worry about that with these weight dishes theyâre nice and lightweight, but they have a slight flexibility about them and it keeps them from being broken easily. I love the earth tones they come in so they will fit in with most any color scheme. They are recyclable witches, another huge plus. Inexpensive and perfect for the whole family. You canât go wrong with so many good features, and a set of dishes.

Good For Outdoor Use
After I had a broken $30.00 plate by taking it outside, I decided I wanted a non-breakable dinnerware set for everyday use. I selected the 18 Piece Wheat Straw Dinnerware Set that includes 6 large plates, 6 deep bowls and 6 small drinking cups in 6 different colors. They are microwave and dishwasher safe. I have been using the set for a couple weeks and they are working well. They do scar when cutting food with a sharp knife. Mine have been through the microwave and dishwasher with no issues. Now I wonât worry about my fine stoneware getting broken again.

All the benefits of plastic without the downsides! This is a great set for those who want to ensure they are not putting themselves at risk of BPA or other chemicals still found in some plastics. These have a nice color – what I would describe as a dull pastel (and I mean that in a very good way). I love that they are both microwave and dishwasher safe – plus they stack nicely. The plates and bowls are a great size for adults and the cups as more of a kids size. These feel like a really well made piece of tupperware (for those who remember those) and should hold up well over the years. Perfect for those with kids, college students, or someone looking for some affordable non-breakable dishes. We liked them so much we ordered the more of the bowls. One last thing, I like the exterior design/texture – it gives these a more classy look and makes them easier to hold securely. Great value!

This Set Makes me Smile
Yes, this wheat straw dinnerware makes me smile. I don’t know… It’s something about the fun, retro colors that reminds me of my carefree childhood summers. I ordered these to take along with us in our camper. They will replace the oddly matched bits and bobs we’ve been using previously. These are so much better. They’re lightweight, stackable, and hard to break. The colors are fun and coordinated. I know my kids will enjoy selecting the pieces they want for each meal. I love how the plates have rounded edges (we call these “plowls”) to help keep food on the plate. Great for kids. Or anyone trying to eat with food balanced on their lap. The bowls are large and deep. And the cups are the perfect size for kids and adults alike. I’m getting another set to keep at home for eating outside on the patio.

Nice camping dishes
I had never heard of wheat straw, so I thought Iâd see what it was all about. I really like the colors and texture. The plates are a good size, with a fairly deep edge, the bowls are a great shape for cereal or ice cream. The cups are good for juice. These are very lightweight, considering their thickness. There is a little flex to bowls & cups, but they are very sturdy. These are so nice, may end up using these for more than just camping! I donât know how theyâll hold up to washing, I donât have a dishwasher – the ridges may be interesting, but they really arenât too deep. I also will need to use them a little to see how they hold up to scratches and if they retain any smells. So far, I am pleasantly surprised with how nice they are.
