Great non toxic tools for the kitchen!
I have been slowly switching all my toxic plastic cooking items out with stainless steel or other non toxic materials. This was a wonderful find! Stainless steel is so easy to care for and it’s durable. These are a bit on the flimsy side and they do have some sharp edges, however they get the job done with no fuss. As long as you’re careful with them, these will last a long time for you. They are easy to wash (dishwasher safe to boot!) and easy to use. Aside from the sharp edges, I have not had any issues with these. I have not checked the measurements to see if they are exact, however my baking has not been effected in any way since I have started using these so I would say they are good enough (measuring should always be done by weight anyways to be most accurate, but this is an acceptable shortcut).

Perfect
I needed a new set of measuring spoons because the numbers had all worn off of my plastic sets. I was looking for stainless steel that had the measurements etched in. These seem to be great quality and perfect for my needs. They have measurements in Mls as well as tsp/TBS which is handy as well. They look nice and have a clasp to hold them all together, so you don’t lose them in the drawer. Good quality for the price and I would recommend to anyone looking for new measuring spoons.

Really nice metal measuring spoons, with metric too.
I was surprised when I first picked these up as to how much they weigh. As with so many things all my previous measuring spoons have been plastic, and so they have very little weight. Big difference with these, but I like them! They feel quite solid, like they will last a very long time. I like that there is a leveling piece in the collection of them. Also the small whisk, but I’m not too sure what I will use it for, lol. They have the markings for the standard US measurements but they put the equivalent of the metric measure on them as well. That will be handy for me as I occasionally experiment with some Norwegian recipes.I’m really impressed with how well made this measuring set is. I highly recommend it! It would make a great gift for someone just getting started with their own home as well.

Blingy Baking Essentials
Baking has become a weekly ritual in our house since the holidays. Weâve fallen into a sweet little habit of fresh muffins for breakfast and cookies for snacks. ðª With my original set of measuring cups constantly in use, I decided a backup set was long overdueâand this gold stainless steel set definitely adds some sparkle to my kitchen. â¨They’re lightweight, with longer, narrower handles than I prefer (Iâm all about short and thick handles, but hey, thatâs just me). I do love that the set includes a 1/8 cup, even though Iâve never seen a recipe call for one. If I ever find one, though, Iâll be ready to measure like a pro! ðTheyâre perfect for everyday bakingâaccurate and easy to use. Iâm not a fan of those giant combo cups (1/2/4/8 cups in one) because I feel like they sacrifice precision, but these stackable cups measure everything perfectly.

Passed the dishwasher test
Immediately after opening I ran this set through the dishwasher to test for rusting, and they passed! True stainless steel. The handles are stamp cut, and I can feel burrs and rough edges to the touch. I wish they would have burnished or rolled the edges. I do love the etched sizing in the handle, as well as the dual imperial and metric conversions. The etching is easy to see and read. Another attractive feature of this set is the included 1/8th cup size, which is handy to have for precise measuring.

Unidentified Gold Coating – Is It Safe?
These spoons are sturdy and seem pretty accurate. They have good weight and the handle length is good. Be careful handling them as some of the edges are pretty sharp.Now let’s address the elephant in the room. Stainless steel is NOT gold. So what is the coating used on these spoons to change their color? This is a very important thing to know. Will it wear off? Is it safe? There is nothing in the listing or packaging that tells us what it is. Made in China, so maybe they aren’t required to tell us? I don’t know, but I really WANT to know what I’m using for food.I ran them through the dishwasher a couple of times, and you can see that the leveler is already scratched, revealing the silver base. The gold is coming off after only two washings. So are they really dishwasher safe? And now I’m back to wondering what this finish is that is clearly coming off.For me, it doesn’t matter how pretty or useful something is if I can’t trust it is safe for my family. The lack of transparency on this issue is concerning. This product scares the heck out of me for use with food. I cannot recommend it.
