I am a chef and a lover of kitchen and dining tools and equipment. I have two other sets of chargers, one black and elegant and one has a galvanized look, for a more informal effect. But I had nothing in polished silver. I bought these, having some doubts about liking them and preparing to return them. I slit open the box and pulled out the first charger. My eyes got big. I then pulled out each charger in the box and they were not only all perfect, they were gorgeous! I have a black, smoked glass dining table and this charger with a white plate on the black table is stunning! Several months ago, on a I might need these some day basis, I bought a dozen sterling silver napkin rings and tucked them into my service drawer. They are perfect! I am a happy man!

These are absolutely fantastic chargers. Since they are stainless steel, I was worried that they would have a dull patina, but they are bright and shiny and perfectly match my silverware. They are very elegant looking and a decent size. They honestly look better than the ones that sell for $50 a piece at a high end retailer. Incredible value.
