    A New Favorite!
This 12QT Stainless Steel Stock Pot is wonderful. We wanted something with Tri-ply, which really helps tremendously with even heat distribution. And we needed a stock pot that had a lot of capacity, but would fit our stove! We have a glass top stove, which this works great on and fits perfectly. It heats up quickly and evenly all around. The glass lid was also a personal choice, and makes it so much easier to see what is happening inside the pot without constantly letting out all the steam and heat just to take a look inside. It looks and feels very well crafted, and like it will last in our kitchen for decades. Short of us needing something even bigger!

    Wow, What A Beautiful Pot.
I have been looking for a large soup pot that’s deep enough to accommodate a whole chicken for soup.I went through all the options first shopping for size using how many quarts the pot would hold. But I realized it’s not the quart amount, it’s the depth of the pot I should be searching for.I originally was looking at Dutch Ovens and realized that they were mostly shallow, even though they accommodated 6.5 to 8 quarts. Then I started looking for stock pots and the selection was abundant. This pot is stainless steel, simple with clean lines and a solid construction measuring 11 inches high, and holds 12 quarts. Perfect for making a pot of delicious soup packed with fresh vegetables. It is also not a weighted pot, making it easy to pick up when it’s full.Deep enough to completely cover a whole chicken in water so it cooks throughout. I took a photo of my grandmother’s pot that’s over 100 years old. She brought it over from Sicily around 1900, and I can remember the dozens of huge meals she would prepare for our large family, cooked in that large pot.I remember when she cooked chicken soup, the chicken feet were sticking out of the pot’s rim. All meat came from butcher shops, and when you bought a chicken, you bought the entire bird, head to feet. We ate hot soup even in the summer on the hottest day of the year.Italians didn’t care what month it was. The kitchen made hot food 365 days a year, in the heat, the rain, or snow. But that pot is aluminum, and because soup is boiling water, the inside always turned dark needing a Brillo scouring pad to remove the dark stains. You can see them side by side, and I still use that huge pot, but it was time for an updated version. Her stock pot is 123 years old, still beautiful, in great condition, and well-made. Thank you, Grandma.

Best 8 quart Pot I have used in 50 years!
This pot is the best!!! The handles stay cool. It is wider in diameter instead of being taller to hold the volume. Wider makes it so much easier to handle and transfer its contents to another pan or container. I use it to boil water, cook pasta, cook tomatoe sauce, beef stew and more. It cleans up as easily as a non-stick surface pot. Highly recommend.

Bellissima, but please make this pot in both a 16 qt. and a 20 qt. size!
This pot is both beautiful and sturdy. The Bakelite handles keeps hands from getting burned and I am a BIG fan of tri-ply whole body or whole clad as some say. I bought the 6, the 8, and the 12 qt. versions and all are lovely. I cook large batches a lot though, so a 16 qt. and even a 20 qt. tri-ply whole body would be fabulous!

Grows MOLD under handle – I only bought these about six months ago, and already need new pots!
I got the 5 quart and the 8 quart a little over six months ago and this is a picture of the inside of the bottom of the lid, through the clear top you can see part of my kitchen – and in the area of red that is where the lid is screwed into the pot lid, there are a bunch of dots and that is mold and it’s black – exactly where water gets trapped whether you wash it by hand or in the dishwasher this is what happens to the lids… This happened to the same spot on the bottom of both of my pot lids… its just gross… I took apart and put back together the other lid, not the one in the the picture, the 8 quart lid. I tried to save the lid, use some bleach, and try to wash it, bleach got rid of the mold then I tried to tighten the lid so water would not get in and still no luck, water is back and mold is starting to grow again… And while the metal base part of the pots do seem to work well, it worries me that water leaks out of the place that the handles attach to the pot just as it leaks where the handle is attached to the pot lid – because if mold is growing where I can see it through the clear lid, then what is growing in those pot handles where I cannot see it? Buy these if you want to need new pots in about six months – or if you think mold is okay in the pot lid… I think mold in cookware is at best gross and at worse dangerous… So, I need to go buy new stock pots but thought I’d save anyone else looking for a decent pot the headache of needing to do the same thing six months later – like me right now!

Buena olla para la cocina y para usar en la parrilla de inducción, ya que es de acero inoxidable. Muy contento con la compra.
