Nice aesthetic knife set with guards
Seems good, esp for under $2 a knife!! Theyre sharp too. Each comes with it’s own matching protective sheath which I really like. Should be easy to clean as the blades are coated with Teflon. Handles are a good size for my small to medium sized hands. Not sure how long the edge will last but I’m confident I’ll get my money’s worth out of this set!!

Great starter set of knives, sharp, each with a color-coded sheath
This is a good starter set of knives, or to fill in a type or two that you’re missing. They are sharp, at least to start with. The mark of a good knife is how long it retains its edge, which depends on the quality of the steel (and how they’re treated). But if you know how to sharpen knives that’s not a killer. I’ve seen some extremely good steel on a few cheap knives, and some bad steel on some that are not so cheap. I don’t judge knives by the cost because although I have some very good top-brand knives, the two knives that I use the most frequently are two of the cheapest knives that I own (each cost less than ten bucks).Knives are tools, and like any other tool it has to feel good in your hands, eventually becoming an extension of your hand. None of these has struck me that way yet, but one or two still might. It’s a personal thing â it just has to happen. One thing that I really like about these knives, and the reason that I ordered them, is that each comes with its own sheath â colored coded to the knife. I have two knife blocks but more knives than will fit, so the rest are just thrown in a drawer which is a terrible way to store knives â not only can someone get cut fishing around looking for the knife they want, but they rub against each other causing premature dulling. After receiving the knives, I noticed how nicely the sheaths are designed â they each have a landing zone where you can place the sharp tip of the knife to guide it in. That is far superior to the other sheaths I’ve seen, and have, which have only a slot so you have to be very careful to get the knife aimed correctly before you push it into the sheath, or you may end up in the hospital with a very serious cut.I first washed the knives and sheaths (separately) in the dishwasher. I pull the knife out of its sheath and leave the clean sheath in the knife drawer so it’s right there and ready for the clean knife to be returned. No point in getting the sheath dirty and needing to be rewashed. Some say to never wash knives in the dishwasher, but I’m unsure why â could knives get so hot as to lose temper? Or, if it’s that the edges can rub together dulling both. I wash very expensive knives by hand, while washing cheap knives in the dishwasher and I’ve never noticed any deleterious effects. My dishwasher has separate positions for each knife so they never rub together, and I doubt they get hot enough to lose temper. Knives with wooden handles should always be washed by hand, otherwise the wood will eventually split. So, considering the price, this is a very nice set of sharp knives with color-coded matching sheaths to protect them (and you). A good purchase for anyone, especially someone starting out and needing to equip a kitchen within a budget. They get 5 stars because they’re a great deal for the price.

about as expected
Sharp, lightweight, nice variety of shapes, each knife comes with its own blade guard. In two+ months of use, no issues with dulling or rust, but then I always at least rinse them (wash and rinse if cutting meat or fish) and dry them immediately (haven’t used dishwasher), then replace blade guard.Recommended. Would buy again.

Good variety of knives
The set arrived neatly packaged. The brown handles give the knives a distinct look, which I found appealing. The inclusion of blade guards for each of the six main knives was a definite plus for safe storage. The set includes a variety of knife types, which seemed promising for tackling different kitchen tasks. The knives are made of stainless steel, and they feel reasonably sturdy in hand. They’re not overly heavy, which I appreciate for extended use. The ergonomic handles are comfortable to grip, providing a good balance. In terms of performance, the knives are decent for everyday kitchen tasks. The chef’s knife handles chopping vegetables and slicing meat reasonably well. The serrated knife works well for bread and tomatoes. The smaller knives are useful for paring and peeling. However, I noticed that the sharpness isn’t exceptional. They cut, but they don’t glide through food effortlessly like higher-end knives. I found myself needing to apply a bit more pressure than I’m used to with sharper knives. The description claims the knives are rustproof and dishwasher safe. I’ve washed them in the dishwasher several times, and so far, I haven’t noticed any rust spots. However, I’ve also hand-washed them occasionally, as I generally prefer to hand-wash knives to maintain their sharpness longer. The blade guards are a nice touch for protecting the blades and preventing accidents in the drawer. The Kitchen Knife Set is a decent option for someone looking for an affordable set of knives for basic kitchen tasks. The variety of knives and the inclusion of blade guards are definite positives. The ergonomic handles are comfortable to use. However, the sharpness isn’t outstanding, and they may require more frequent sharpening compared to higher-quality knives.

Good set of knifes
These knifes are very sharp and feel well made. I’ve been using them for a few weeks and they’re still very sharp. The handles are very comfortable as well. I like that there are different sizes, which is good for different uses.

Love it
Fantastic set! Each knife comes with a fitted protective cover to protect the blade and for safety. I love the different colors, soft muted colors. Very sharp and have a nice weight to them. Perfect for housewarming, bridal or wedding gift!

Affordable, nice set of kitchen knives. The blade guards are a bonus.
These knives are pretty nice, for a reasonable price. They seem well made, though the handles are made of plastic. When I picked each one up, the balance felt good in my hand. I like that the blades are stainless steel, so they can be sharpened when they need it. Also they shouldn’t rust. They have a decent sharpness to them when they arrive. I like that each one has a blade guard so I will not get cut when I am rooting through my draw in search of the utensil I need at the moment.I will recommend this set of kitchen knives. They are good for someone like me that really doesn’t like to cook, so they will do all the cutting, chopping, and dicing I need, lol. I think they would be great for young people just starting out living in their own place, as well.
