good for light work
These tongs are smaller and lighter in weight than most I have used. These facts combined with the tactile grasp of the wood-like construction make them more nimble and easy to use for things like dumplings, pot stickers, or even little sausages. Theyâre perfect for tossing a salad or stirring boiling pasta, though they are less than ideal for serving either of these common dishes. The teeth are very short, not really effective as strainers, and the spoon-like heads are rather small. You can get your serving job done with these, though it will take you more trips back to the bowl. I think they work best for lighter tasks that require a lot of tong handling or for browning dishes in a pan you do not wish to scratch with metal tongs. They are perfect for asparagus.

Nice concept but too Small of a size for my liking
I like the fact that these are all bamboo with no plastics or metals. My issue is with using the all-bamboo form factor the tongs are maxed out by the size they were formed at and for these that isn’t even the width of a stick of butter. So don’t expect to pick anything up larger than that width. So far in my experience with these, I try to use them and end up getting frustrated because I’m only able to grab an inch amount of whatever at a time. I’ll continue to use them to see if with time I can get used to it but with the small arm size and minimal width it’s just not practical for me.

For hosting this would be good as it looks very nice, but it is not the most functional. The tongs don’t open very wide so you cannot get very much pasta.
