No blue light or beeps!
This kettle fits the bill for what I need.Pros:1) No bright annoying blue light. The switch is quiet and a gentle red, when it boils you can hear it gently click up.2) Insulated. Not the most, but it does keep it warmer than those glass kettles.3) Large size. I can use it to quickly bring water to a boil for large pots.4) No boiling water touching plastic.Cons:1) Doesn’t open all the way. Not too much of a big deal since I only boil water in it.2) Metal does scale, but that is easy to remove with vinegar or citric acid.

EXTREMELY Quiet. Looks nice and seems durable
I purchased this kettle over comparable models primarily based on its understated looks, slender profile, and value. I am very happy with the purchase. It seems sturdy and cleans up well. The fact that it’s nearly silent is either this kettle’s best selling point or biggest detractor. You can tell when it’s heating by the orange light on the flip lever, which goes off after it boils. However, after several days of use I have yet to HEAR it turn off or notice much steam being released. This has taken some getting used to as my previous model sounds and puffs like a freight train.I highly recommend the kettle if you tiptoe around when a baby is asleep or have a pet afraid of whistling/whooshing noises. If you’re prone to forgetting you’ve turned it on you’ll probably be disappointed that there’s no beep or other indicator that the water is hot. However, it heats to a boil extremely quickly, so turning it back on is no big deal.I imagine this will last for years of daily use, but will update if it doesn’t hold up.

My daughter bought one of these kettles for herself and sent me a video to show how unbelievably quiet it is. So many kettles sound like a jet taking off as they heat up. When I first used it I wondered if it was working because I heard nothing until the water was fully boiled. And, it was so much faster than my other kettles. This kettle is very sleek looking. The flexible cord makes placing the kettle where I want it on the counter much easier. It stays cool to the touch, the surface is easy to wipe clean, and it doesn’t tend to drip like other kettles. I have spent four times this much on inferior kettles by some of the best-known brands. I am spoiled for all other kettles to the point that I’m willing to give up some shelf space to keep a spare. Save yourself the money and noise pollution from other kettles!

A quiet tea kettle!
This electric kettle is so very quiet that I sometimes check if I hit the ON button. It works quickly. Holds a good amount. The sides of the kettle do not get hot so you wonât burn your hand grasping the handle. The top gets a little warm but feels safe to touch. The only flaw is that it doesnât have mesh at the poor spot to catch mineral deposits (scale). The holes it does have do not block out small deposits. Just need to remember to give it an occasional vinegar soak to loosen the scale, pour it out, and rinse well.

I’ve never written a review for a product before, but I am compelled to do so for this AMAZING electric kettle! It has all the features that I was looking for: quiet, stainless steel interior, no internal plastic pieces, large capacity (1.7 litres), on/off switch that lights up when the kettle is on, automatic turn-off, unobtrusive design that blends into the counter space, sturdy, and affordable. This is not a cutesy/retro expensive kettle. It does the job, SILENTLY, and won’t break. I have twice broken more stylish glass kettles (with the cool blue light) – and wasted a lot of money! I was worried that the plastic exterior would look cheap, but it does not – you hardly notice it on my counter (see picture). Look no further!

Looks good but it is overpriced garbage. Broke after 6 months of hardly using it.
The bi-metal thermostat triggers too early and shuts off the power but the lever stays down. So for several minutes the cooker comes on and off – takes forever to cook 2-3 cups of water.It didn’t do that during the first couple of months.What annoys me even more is, that I cannot find any warranty information on Cooktron.ORG just an questionable email address for “Customerproductafter-sales@outlook.com”. All of this literally screams CHEAP ASS!!

Super quiet, fast and huge.
Had to replace my last kettle after a little over a year and this is by far a better kettle, perhaps the best one that I have ever owned. It is fast, quiet and easy to clean. I only fill 1/2 way as it is too heavy for me to lift otherwise. I wanted another white one but the black one is fine and is a major improvement over my last one and I hope that this one lasts. It was 26 bucks which is a steal and I am satisfied with the quality. Wish they would stock other colors so I could give as a gift. Really nice kettle and so quiet.

I am totally satisfied with this purchase. I use this kettle several times a day to boil hot water, and I have had it over a month. This is the quietest kettle I have ever used, the only noise is a slight click when it is done boiling. It is perfect if you are trying to be quiet (I live with a small child). It boils 1.7 litres in about 6 minutes, which is pretty standard. The body of the exterior doesnât get hot, but the spout does get hot to the touch. The interior is fully stainless steel and the mouth of the kettle opens very wide, which makes cleaning easy, even if you had large hands. There is a large âmax fill lineâ on the inside, but you cannot see that from the outside. The cord is average length. I have the green option, which coincidentally matches my kitchen perfectly, and it is a very nice color. It is a glossy finish which makes it very easy to wipe off.I like this kettle enough to say I would definitely purchase it again. In fact, I have already ordered one for my mother in black as a replacement for her current kettle (whenever it stops working).

Ordered this kettle because it was supposed to be quiet. Filled with water, plugged in and smoke/steam started coming from the lid button. Turned off after 5 seconds and water was warm but not boiling, turned back on and there was a pop sound and the power light went out while the switch was still in the on position. Now the kettle wonât work at all. Really expensive, poor quality, waste of money.
