I used to have a tough time wrapping my head round oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. To me, it was both chocolate chip cookies or oatmeal raisin cookies, and mixing the 2 was simply form of bizarre. However now I do know it’s really an effective way to mix an oatmeal cookie (which I really like) and chocolate. After which I fell in love with this recipe.

Based mostly on my Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (simply with out the cinnamon and raisins and with a hearty dose of chocolate chips), these dangerous boys hit the spot each time. They’re irresistibly smooth and chewy and simply thick sufficient to be tremendous satisfying with out being cakey. They’re loaded with chewy oats and greater than sufficient chocolate chips. Time to dig in!
