Major League for small kitchens
I waited until I wrote a review. Maybe six months, but I really donât know.This machine is a huge plus for a foodie who lives in a small apartment with a small kitchen and an electric coil stove to boot.The price is so worth it. It is easy to clean. Hereâs a little tip, when youâre done cooking your meal transfer whatâs in your Instant pot to another container or plate. While your meal is cooling, wash your instant pot or let it soak in the sink.I do this every time and my instant pot looks brand new.The different functions are a huge plus. I use the sauté, pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker functions. The size is ideal for one or two people.Read every review you want, but I would really recommend that you try this. Itâs gonna replace the majority of your time at the stove top and you wonât need as many sauté pans or baking pans.

Finally Instant Pot Indicating Stages of Preheating, Cooking, etc.
I bought Instant Pot years ago from another seller, and gave it away — it was not interactive like this model. Then 2 years after I gave 1st Instant Pot to Salvation Army, decided to buy another well known Chef’s Electric Pressure Cooker. That lasted 3 years and again I gave it to Salvation Army.I said I would never try any type of pressure cooker again — too me, I couldn’t see value in it. Especially since I am retired and alive alone.Then in the various kitchen emails I received during late 2024, this model was mentioned. Decided to research Instant Pot aagin. I read reviews from four different websites comparing up to 10 different electric pressure cookers — including Instant Pot.This model was rated in top 1 or 2 spots on those websites. During 2024 Holiday season, I purchased this model at a reasonable price and bought extended warranty as well.I couldn’t try this model until today, and pleasantly surprised how easy to select cooking function and time — then start. What I always absolutely love is tilted screen — especially since I have arthritis and find it difficult to look straight on at any screen unless I am sitting in a chair. I also think its so wonderful to have various stages from Preheating through Pressure Release shown on the screen; along with, words indicating what stage cooking process currently in.Thank you Instant Pot for tilted screen/interactive screen messages. It will make it so much easier for me. I am sure I will utilize I/P Pressure Cooker more often looking forward to meals I prepare in it.

I love the newly designed steam release, but I wish that it still had the extended “keep warm” feature. This one only allows you to keep your meal warm for up to 10 hours and then it shuts off, and sometimes I work longer hours than that being in healthcare. My old Instant Pot would let you keep things warm for like 36 hours.

Amazing
I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas and she finally was able to use it. Sheâs made several dishes and theyâve all come out quick and flavorful. The functionality is easy to use and itâs also easy to clean. Now I want one for myself, but itâs not Black Friday anymore. Lol

Cheap and possible zero refund.
Just short of incomplete instructions of where EVERY warning tag is (little one under the valve *critcal* to remove to acheive pressure), this worked great to cook a 4.5 lb. roast. After cleaning, I noticed black pitting in the metal. Mind you, I used a non abrasive scrub mommy sponge…which defeated the whole purpose of having a stainless steel inner pot…should be able to scrub with steel wool with no issue like this! By other commenters reviews, said they had issue with pitting in the steel as well, which only got worse with more use. This is a sign of CHEAP STEEL COOKWARE…but I thought, maybe they were especially rough. Nope. I scrub my baby’s back harder than I did this!Other commenters also say they that it simply quits works after 6 months of average use (about 1 time a week). This is a sign of CHEAP ELECTRONICS.Anyhow, it’s an outsource issue. Instapot sold out to cheaper manufacturers *China, and now their product is garbage.I read time and time again that the older Instantpots are invincible. I’ll be going to the thriftstores to look for old models.I returned this promptly the next day, detail cleaned it and repackaging it carefully. DO NOT FORGET THE EXTERNAL BOX THAT THE BOX CAME IN OR THEY WILL CHARGE YOU TO PACKAGE THE BOX!!It remains to be seen, as they said a “partial or ZERO payment refund may be issued based on the condition when its returned”. There’s a lot of things I have taken chances on buying from Amazon, but never have I encountered this “possible zero refund” without being mentioned to before buying.Buy it from a local store if you can, you’ll have less hassel if things go south.AMAZON SAVES YOU NOTHING IN THIS SCENARIO.

The instant pot will change your life
Unfortunately, I donât wanna cook anything else now. Everything I have made whether it be meat, soup, rice has been phenomenal. Itâs also just stupid easy to cook anything. I love how it is a pressure cooker, crockpot, and rice maker all in one. I feel like Iâve been able to get rid of some of my other appliances that take up a lot of space. I have no notes, if you were thinking of purchasing one stop thinking and just do it.
