Great set with two sizes of tongs.
I love the lock feature, and the hangers were a nice touch.

Inexpensive, but on the small side
These are nice tongs, but they are a little small for some tasks. For example if you are frying something, it would be better to have a 12″ tongs to keep better distance from hot oil. I included a picture of these two tongs along side a 12″ tongs that I had so you can get a better idea about the size.The tongs do have a better locking mechanism that the run of the mill grocery store bought ones. You can see by the picture that the tongs have a pull out tab at the end that locks the tongs in the closed position. This is much nicer than the cheaper versions that have a square ring of metal that always seems to be in the wrong place and can easily be moved causing havoc in your kitchen drawer.I may use the 9″ tongs for frying, but not the 7″ ones, they are too short. I guess both could be used for serving salads and other cold items.The package also included two hanging hooks, but I’m not going to use those.
