Great Everyday Dishware
Love the pattern that matched some nice large salad dishes. The cereal bowls could be a little larger, especially for salads. Thought these were more like the porcelain salad plates I had purchased. Should have looked closer as these seem heavier and more like ceramic. Overall an excellent product.

After many years of making do with an old set, I decided to treat myself in time for anticipated holiday company. These are BEAUTIFUL. The only negative is that they stand a little tall in the dishwasher and I must position them carefully in order for the water blade to be able to circulate. -I don’t understand the person who reviewed the bowls as small. This simply isn’t the case, unless you’re Jethro on the Beverly Hillbillies. ð

Love this set!
I really like the style of this set. The plates, while a solid white, do have a nice basketweave pattern around the edges providing a pleasing visual when comparing to just a solid plain plate set. All pieces arrived and wonderfully packaged. The delivery box had a bit of wear (nothing major) so I was a bit nervous about possible cracking or breakage but upon opening the boxes to inspect the dinnerware, each piece was securely packaged inside their respective boxes. No cracks, chips or breakage of any kind. They seem sturdy and I do like the size of the plates, bowls and salad/dessert plates. I am , so far, thoroughly pleased with the look of this set and I thought it was a very good value for service for 8 (24 pieces). It is stated they are microwave and dishwasher safe so it remains to be seen how they will fare in time. But for now, I’m very happy with the brand.

Pfaltzgraff Josephine Dinner Set: Great for Everyday Meals
We just got the Pfaltzgraff Josephine 24-piece Dinnerware Set for our home, and it looks like it’s going to be perfect for our daily use. The plates and bowls are a bit thicker than most, which is good for us because we often end up chipping or breaking our dishes.The design of the set has a basket-weave pattern. We thought it might be too much, but it’s actually pretty nice and not too noticeable unless you look closely. This is great because it means the set isn’t too flashy for everyday meals.So far, we’re really happy with this dinner set and plan to use it all the time for our family dinners. It seems strong enough to last a while and it’s nice enough to make our meals feel special.

The dishes were just what I expected.
My dinner dish set was nearly 40 years old and I was tired of it. Funny enough my Pfaltzgraff Josephine dish set is replacing the Pfaltzgraff set I got for my wedding. All the cups and accessories of the old set compliment my new white plates. I love them.
