Sturdy wok for one
Great sturdy wok, mid weight and easy to use and clean. This is great size for making meal for one, although a tad small if you get carried away with stir fry action. It heats evenly and is easy to clean. Iâve seasoned mine as I would have cast iron plus carmalized onions in it, which is a recommended technique by professionals for seasoning pans and the wok performs perfectly.

Handy and nice looking on my induction cooktops
It has been a week since I got this wok but it quickly became my indispensable cooking utensil on my induction cooktop:It works acceptably well on my two induction portable cooktops. Induction capability was my number one concern prior to buying decision. The wok has about 5″ diameter flat bottom surface, which may be the minimum size for a typical induction cooker. It appears less efficient in heat transfer or efficiency than of stainless steel or cast iron pots, though. Wok is designed to be best on gas and flipping anyway.Compact size and light weight gives me comfort during cooking. Even the look is eye pleasing. The gray color with silver handle makes good color contrast. Cleaning is a cinch. The nonstick condition is so far good but remains to be observed for longer period of time. This wok is perfect in size for me, one person meal. Meal for two is possible but probably no leftover.Overall, I am pleased with this wok and recommend with no hesitation.

Great Wok for glass-top electric stove!
This is the 2nd one of these I have owned and was very impressed with my first (and so-far with my 2nd as well). To be honest, Iâm kind of surprised to see some negative reviews about these woks, but maybe I shouldnât be. In my experience, non-stick pans see tons and tons of abuse by the average user. Did you know, by the way, that pans typically come with instructions that, apparently, most people donât read? Well it turns out that non-stick pans can be a bit finicky when it comes to heat control – specifically in terms of over heating, and much more specifically when over heating an empty pan! Overheating this wok when it is empty will be detrimental to its lifespan, finish, form (see flat bottom vs warped) and your overall satisfaction with the product! Also of note, no matter how often you see non-stick pans that say you can use metal utensils in them, donât do it! It will decrease the lifespan and damage the finish over time. If you take care of this wok, it will give you many years of excellent service. Will it last forever, no! Cast iron, stainless, and spun carbon steel have more potential for longevity. However, if any of these other materials had a non-stick finish, youâd be in the same boat. The non-stick wears out eventually, then itâs time to buy a new one, no biggie! Take care of it, and kindly educate others in the house on how to use it properly, and it should be around for a while without any pealing, chipping, scratching, warping, etc.Happy cooking!UPDATE 2/27/22Due to some of the negative reviews I have seen regarding this item and itâs longevity, I thought that it might be good to post an update. Simply put, this wok is still going strong, without any signs of warping, chipping, flaking, or pitting, or anything else (and I do use this on my electric stoveâs highest temperature setting at least twice weekly). As noted above, if you want this to last, treat it right! If you donât take care of it, it will not last long at all. Donât heat it long (or at all) if itâs empty. Donât use metal utensils on it. DO let it cool to room temperature before washing it. Donât use abrasive cleaners. This is a fantastic non-stick wok that I would highly recommend to anyone, but especially to those with glass-top stoves.

Great for scrambled eggs!
Let’s get this out of the way: it’s probably useless as a wok. I bought this for one purpose only: making scrambled eggs with butter. It works pretty well for that. The nonstick coating prevents the eggs from sticking, and the tall sides prevent the contents from spilling out while stirring vigorously. I use a silicone spatula to prevent any kind of damage to the coating. After each use I just wipe the pan dry with a paper towel; there’s no need to wash it.My only two complaints are both related to the same design flaw: the pan material is very thin all around. First, this makes it damn near impossible to keep the heat even, as the bottom heats up very rapidly. Second, the steel handle is a lot heavier than the pan itself, which makes it extremely prone to tipping over. I’ve had a few close calls already. It’s a good idea to always have one hand on the handle, or prop it up against something.

Excellent WOK–no need for even a drop of olive oil
This is the best! Although it is large and a little unwieldy it is perfect for stir fry. Large enough that food wont fly out of the pan when shaking/stirring. I had been using a 12″ non stick skillet for my stir fries but food would always escape all over the stove. Not with this! Flat bottom makes it easy to stand level without need of placing a wok ring around the burner. I added my usual TBSP of olive oil for my first two vegetable stir fries but believe I’ll skip the oil for the next one. Absolutely nothing sticks to this. Of course, clean up is a breeze. Two issues to consider when ordering: The price i paid was approx $17. A few days later I sent the link to friends and the price had climbed to approx $39. Huh? Also, I ordered along with a cast iron grill pan in order to reach the threshold for free shipping, Poorly packed, as the cast iron pot was placed inside the larger wok and then both items were thrown into a way-too-large shipping box. Needless to say, non stick finish on wok was damaged in shipment; forcing me to return and request replacement. Replacement is fine; just wondering if those in order fulfillment need some remedial training in how to safely pack merchandise.

This is one handy dandy item. The 8.5″ unit is perfect for 1-2 people. It cleans up really easy, but from past experience we’ve chosen to hand wash it vs. running it through the dishwasher. The pan has a real solid feel to it, not too heavy, not too lite, either. It also heats up evenly. Good value for $ spent. Suspect this pan it going last a long time.
