Great slow cooker
I am surprised I don’t see this more often… this is a great crock pot/slow cooker. It is lightweight (I have weak wrists so this has been amazing!), the stove top safe function is AMAZING I love being able to sear meat right in the pot before transferring it to the slow cooker. It is non stick which makes cleaning it SO easy even after cooking something for hours it’s not a pain to get clean. I was concerned it might be too small but it’s been perfect to cook for my family of 6 (with big appetites). It also isn’t too bulky for storing… overall just love it. I do wish the handles were a little bigger to allow pot holders to be used more easily when transferring the pot from the stove to the slow cooker but definitely recommend this one if you are looking for an upgrade or to make meal time easier!

Great replacement & Lightweight
Needed to replace my crockpot for the second time in about 4 years. The stone wear liner kept cracking as it would slip from my grasp while cleaning. I absolutely love this replacement! I find it is so much lighter and thus easier for me to deal with and especially to clean. Cleans up easily and it is not hard to hold (due to arthritis) because itâs so much lighter. I also really like being able to sear meats right in the liner on the stovetop. Cooks evenly and well.

So far so good
The ceramic lining of my 25 year old crock pot cracked so I needed a new crockpot. The company that made my old one no longer makes crockpots. I chose this crockpot because 1). It is the same size as my old crockpot 2). I wanted to have multiple cook times/temperature settings. This review is for the 33662, not the one that locks. When it arrived I was a little worried because it was so light, but definitely a plus over my old crockpot. I was a little concerned that the insert is non-stick aluminum since my last one was ceramic. I have used this crockpot three times so far. I usually use the crockpot 2-3 times a month. I am actually very happy with the light weight nonstick aluminum insert. I used liners in the past but with this crockpot they are not necessary (so far). It cleans up very fast. The light weight also makes it easier to handle while cleaning. My only concern is that the crockpot seems to cook things hotter/faster than my old crockpot and I have had to adjust the cooking times for some recipes but knowing that and adjusting is a minor issue. Because of how light it is I do worry about itâs longevity but I donât expect anything to last like they used to. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

This is a nice Slow Cooker but be aware of the metal crock. Simple controls make it a winner for me.
I like this slow cooker but have to admit I was surprised by the “crock”. Yes, I read that you can put the crock on a stovetop to sear food prior to slow cooking or even put it in a hot oven but, frankly, the product description didn’t make it clear to me that the “crock” was metal instead of a heavyweight ceramic as is the historical norm. Since I likely will not sear food, I wondered would the lightweight metal crock cook the same as my old ceramic crock? To find out I cooked a large chuck roast as I usually do, on slow for 6-8 hours. Here are my results:⢠Heat-up time: Metal crock with food heated up much faster.⢠Cook time on low: Faster cook time. About 25% faster.⢠Reached safe eating temperature faster.⢠Final result was beef that browned and got tender as usual. Just faster.I still used a disposable slow cooker liner even though the metal crock is non-stick coated. I like the automatic âgo to warmâ feature after your set cycle time completes. Metal crock is light weight which may be good for some people. Simple controls are adequate for most needs without undue complexity. If you need a timed start look elsewhere.

Love the versatility of stovetop to crock pot!
I really do have to say I’m loving the ability to sear meat and and saute vegetables on the stove and transfer it right to the crock-Pot with no added dish or dishes in between. The pot does get hot on the stove, requiring potholders to hold it steady and stirring and transferring the pot back into the crock pot heating part. I did notice that the interior scratched bit when I stored it with the plug inside of it. I’m being sure not to use any metal utensils. I’m on those people that search and read reviews, organizing over a decision over the course of days. So cut to the chase for those like me, yes I would recommend it. It is different from your regular crock pot. But the convenience and electronic features combined to make this a great deal.

Love the browning option in a crockpot
You can put the crockpot liner on a burner and brown your meat, then put it into the crockpot and finish your meal as usual. Liner is easier than original to wash in dishwasher. Two thumbs up!

Made my first pulled pork in the crockpot and it turned out so tasty!!!!

Average and disappointing
I purchased this because I had a similar version years ago that I loved. The quality of this just isn’t there especially with a $74 price tag. I did the “used” in a busted up box version for $54 and all feel like I grossly over paid, this is very light and cheaply made.I like the aluminum or whatever metal crock because it is lighter than a ceramic version. My kitchen floors are concrete so a ceramic one just isn’t the safest option which is why I went for this.Overall I think there are better crockpots out there. This didn’t come with a lock feature.

Was real stoneware before but not just a cheap aluminium pot that will degrade overtime
