Better than expected!
Honestly it looks better than the picture in my opinion. Handle feels nice and sturdy and at a natural angle for pouring, which for some reason is hard to come by. Also the spout is easy to control so you could easily do a pour over with something like this even though it’s not quite as thin as most gooseneck kettles out there. It is my primary means of easy boiled water for tea, ramen, cleaning, etc… It seems fast to me, and even right after boiling the bottom of the kettle is cool enough to hold or set on a counter, but make sure to test it if youre nervous. I was glad to find something that met the parameters I was looking for.(Ergonomic, decent to look at on my counter, matches my other stuff, can do pour over coffees.) I’m very happy with my choice.

Pretty standard really, if you’re looking for a water boiler that is aesthetic, affordable, and quick this is your product! My only miniscule complaint is the connection wire is pretty short at probably like 2-3 feet? I was hoping to have it on my metal standing desk to brew drinks while I work. However, BECAUSE of the short wire it’s really easy to hide it behind a vase or other things.

Only lasted 2 years!!!!
I used this teapot to heat water for tea. My husband used it to heat water for his coffee that he made in a French press. Stopped working after 2 years! It was in no way abused or mistreated as we loved it very much. Not many choices out there for a copper electric teapot. Question for the company….Is that the life expectancy of this teapot? if so, that’s a shame. only giving one star for each of the 2 years it worked for us. I am SAD!Updated review November 2024The customer service for this item was outstanding! After seeing my review, they reached out to see how they could make me a satisfied customer. They offered to refund me, I just wanted a new kettle and that is exactly what they did. Es tal cual se muestra en fotografias y hasta el momento funciona muy bien y calienta muy rapido. Como cualquiero otro producto similar sirve para calentar, cafe, leche y exclusivamente agua. Como comentario, recuerden que el punto de ebullicion de otros liquidos, puede ser distinto al del agua, que es la principal funcion de esta producto. Si se puede calentar leche u otros, pero debera mantener cuidado en apagarlo manualmente para que no se derrame dicho liquido. Por el contrario, de calentar solamente agua, el apagado automatico funciona en el correcto tiempo para hervir el agua, lo que permite dejar sin preocupaciones cuando se esta calentando
