I wanted a roaster with a stainless rack. I dont use “nonstick anything” despite almost all racks being coated. My Thanksgiving turkey was exceptional. The roaster is heavy, but sturdy. Roasted a 15 lb bird easily.

5 ply KitchenAid Roaster
I ordered this as a gift. The pan is heavy & beautiful, but during manufacturing, the handles were left off the rack! The photo shows the huge spaces where handles are missing. The other picture is what the rack was supposed to look like when properly manufactured. I’m returning this one for replacement. Too bad, I’ve always thought KitchenAid had good quality control.

Perfect classic roasting pan. Easily fits a 20lb turkey and the handle orientation ensures it fits in a smaller oven.

Seemed really well made, and we were excited to use it. However, one of the interior corners was split open with the black inner lining exposed. It would have been caught with any brief inspection.

The only roasting pan I will ever need
I purchased this roasting pan when I hosted my first Thanksgiving. My family thought I was crazy and should have bought a disposable for a fraction of the price. I’m so glad I didn’t! This beautiful addition to my kitchen was sturdy and strong and held my 19lb turkey perfectly. It was tall enough to make plenty of gravy and fill the bottom with the veggies I wanted. I was worried the stainless would be a bear to clean – it wasn’t. The pan and rack cleaned up beautifully with minimal effort. I did a lot of research and did not want any non-stick material as it often can’t hold up to high temps and flakes off on your food. I am looking forward to happily roasting chickens, beef and pork roasts in this pan in the future!
