Super sharp and comfortable to use
Sharp as a razor out of the box and i could reproduce that edge with just a few strokes through a basic sharpener. It’s not bulky but it’s comfortable for me to use even when peeling several pounds of red potatoes! Inexpensive but seems well worth it! Works better and sharper than paring knife I paid 7x more for.

Very sharp! So easy to cut with.
My last roommate had one of these knives, and while it did spot stain a bit (rust) on the blade, it never seemed like an issue. It was very slight, and the knife was so easy to cut veggies with, I didn’t worry about it.I landed a deal, 2 for $12. They arrived today. I was so happy to use one tonight, until I forgot I was cutting with a razor sharp blade and… Well, it’s just the tip of my thumb, and I’m still typing with it, so we’re good.GREAT KNIVES! VERY SHARP!I recommend purchasing a generic first aid kit along with these knives if you don’t already have one.

Rarity
Quality, despite this being made in Taiwan. I saw the rave reviews, and figuredthat many people couldn’t be wrong. They weren’t. This parer is SO worth the $8.Bought a second one as a gift, because it performs so well. If you care, it doesn’thave China or “Taiwan” on the blade; just on the packaging. Great knife.

Favorite knife….
Love this knife! Used to be able to get locally at a restaurant store but sadly they don’t carry them any longer. Amazon to the rescue…..again! Great quality blade, stays sharp, good feel. This is my third…first one still sharp. Great buy….

I gave it 3 stars but for ten bucks, there’s not too much to complain about, I suppose. I bought it a year ago along with a similar Victorinox that cost nearly double. I’d buy the Vic again but probably not this knife. Edge chips easily, hard to sharpen -and I have a lot of experience.Update a few months further along – I have rehabilitated the chipped edge on this knife a couple of times and tried changing the bevel to a less acute angle, but I still keep finding chips along the edge. It’s in the same drawer with a couple of victorinox knives and they don’t get chips and can shred through newspaper like its not there. I thought I would reserve judgment when it was new in case someone in my family abused it, but I am convinced the steel is no good now. In my kitchen, I mainly use high-end japanese cooking knives with very hard steel, which are very easy to chip, but they never get chipped because I know how to use and maintain knives.

Fab little knife. Purchased originally for my daughter to use for jointing poultry (great for small incisions and removing breast meat). When I managed to break the original, I had no hesitation in ordering a second one. Love a good sharp knife and find blunt ones far more dangerous (this applies to my kids using them too).

Very handy little knife for general use in the kitchen. Works well and goes in the dishwasher
