Love this OXO grill pan!
In my experience, OXO makes excellent kitchen products, and this grill did not disappoint. I use it to sear steaks and lambchops before putting them into the broiler. It does a great job producing grill lines and keeps the juices inside the meat. I’ve also used it to make bacon. The best feature is how easy the cleanup is!The non-stick feature is amazing. After grilling, I wipe the grill out with paper towels and it looks practically clean! As with all non-stick pans, I prefer to hand wash them rather than putting them in the dishwasher in order to preserve and protect the non- stick feature and the integrity of the pan. I absolutely love this OXO grill pan. I also use their non-stick frying pans, which are equally excellent and easy to clean.

Replacement for a round grill pan that worked great but had tiny grooves on the raised portions and was impossible to clean. This pan heats evenly, grills perfectly, goes directly into the oven and literally wipes clean. Great buy.

I love this grill pan. I’ve just received my third pan. It grills food very evenly and is veryeasy to clean for about 2 years. That’s when the non-stick coating begins to fail. When this happens,I order another pan. That’s why I’m on my third pan.

A good cast iron alternative
We needed a good grill pan that was easy to clean and not made of cast iron. This fit the bill and provided a large surface area for grilling. This is both good and bad: Good because we had room to grill more stuff at once, but bad because the pan far exceeds the burner space we have, which means the heat distribution isn’t so great. Another negative? The grill ridges aren’t tall enough, so getting grill marks is more difficult. It’s not exactly a smooth griddle-type surface, but since it’s made of a pressed metal the ridges can only be so high. Overall, I gave it four stars. It’s not perfect, but since we can’t do cast iron I’d consider this above-average in build quality and design.
