Excellent for Kitchen Clutter
Very handy and attractive rail for added storage of my endless mass of cooking implements. My hanging rack was becoming overcrowded, so I looked at my 60″ Boos butcher block table and it hit me. The rail’s standoffs were 1 1/2″ in diameter a perfect match for the table’s thickness! That were it was going!Layout:I first centered the standoffs that there was equal space on each end of the table. I scribed a pencil mark on the table aligning the centers of both standoffs. The edge-margins were acceptable (this is so one doesn’t spilt the tabletop wood.) I carefully marked the holes and drilled pilots. Since the tabletop is made of hard maple, a pilot hole is necessary. I was careful to lubricate the drill (canola oil is great) and drill halfway, clear the flutes, then finish the hole. *Note: I also lubed the screws and drove them by hand.After installing the first standoff, I inserted the rail, added the hooks, and then fit the opposite end with the second one. Using a level, I checked the horizontal alignment and repeated the process. I omitted the center standoff because I desired more freedom of hook movement; beside, two standoffs installed in solid hard maple aren’t going anywhere soon.My wife is very happy that we can hang our pizza-making tools on it (pizza peels are a bit awkward just lying around) and we can place pan lids between the rail and the table – and that dish towel that’s always in the way. Actually nicely made that I believe will last a long time. I would recommend this to anyone who is as crazy about cooking as me. Haha.

Sturdy and beautiful
I love everything copper and this has a beautiful antiqued copper finish. Installation was relatively easy, I have it mounted to a board thatâs screwed into the wall studs so I could get it perfectly centered on the wall. Seems very sturdy; Iâm not sure if Iâd trust with extra large/heavy cast iron pots, but itâs not flimsy at all.

Great hooks and great look
It should have been very easy to assemble and install, however, because the base is small, it is very difficult to get to the screws without hitting the ball with the drill or the crew driver.It does not come with anchors, therefore, you must find studs or purchase anchors in order for this rack to be strong enough to take the weight of pots and pans. In my case the space is not large enough to play around with the placement of the studs, so I drilled and put anchors in EVERY hole (all 9 of them) because not one of them hit a stud.On a positive note, I like the fact that it has three holders not only two, so the center is being supported.I love that the hooks are not simple S hooks, instead the hooks are closed in one end, so they are not going anywhere. Had they been open hooks, they would’ve been falling behind the range with each use and good bye hooks!I like the black finish and the overall look of the entire rack. The hassle with the installation was worth it and hopefully I won’t have to deal with that at all again.
